This really helped cause I'm getting a PS3 from my aunt
The app does work but is now laggy, sometimes my PS3’s software would even crash. I remember using UA-cam on PS3 in 2019 and it ran smoothly.
It’s laggy for me, as well on the PS3. I now moreso use it on my Apple TV.
like my PS3 just locks up and i have to hold down the button till it turns off
@@pentiummmx2294 same thing here. I mostly use UA-cam on my PC and Phone nowadays. Before I got a PS5, I mainly used UA-cam on PS4. For some odd reason even though I have UA-cam on my PS5, I never go on it.

Edit: While it does work, an Android TV box is likely a better investment as the PS3 has been EOL for quite some time now

Netflix still works fine, but any other streaming apps download but no access

There wouldn’t be an address bar as this is an app. There should be a button with three dots that should allow you to copy URL. If not, than you would use the share button to copy as a URL.

Is it still working in January 2024? When I start the application it tells me that it is not possible to connect to UA-cam, and it does not continue.

@@Stealth1986 Thanks for your answer. I tried with the .pkg files detailed below, which are installed correctly but when starting the application they either stay at the UA-cam logo or it tells me that UA-cam cannot be connected. My ps3 is a SLIM model with the latest version of evilnat/cobra CFW.

I also downloaded it from the store and from the XMB. I suspect that something in the cfw is blocking the connection, for example when you have to change settings to connect to the unofficial re-release of playstation home. But I'm not sure.
@@MarcosFull it may be due to the cfw. I don’t have any homebrew installed on my PS3. I’m running the official PS3 System Software, so I suppose that’s why I’m not having any issues. 🤷🏽♂️

Agreed, the app is laggy and i also noticed will crash constantly. Glad games still run fine even after a decade of dust.
