There is a lot of evidence that ancient Jews worshipped other gods than just Yahweh. Why would Moses have admonished them for worshipping a golden calf as bulls were held as sacred in ancient Egypt. They also worshipped Baal amongst others and at one point even had a female goddess opposite their patriarchal deity. I also wanted to mention that the word Amen from scripture used to end prayers is actually a derivative of Amun-Ra which is directly addressing Egyptian Gods as it is the name of their sun deity and as such was adopted by the Jews and later the Christians. If I'm not mistaken, your fairytale book said Moses had 40 commandments but some of the tablets broke.
Also your use of absolutes is incorrect because you can easily omit laws you find egregious or dated.
