For the chiffon Cake
8 egg yolks
80 g sugar or 1/3 cup plus 1/2 tbsp
100 ml milk
100 ml oil
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
200 g cake flour or 1 1/4 cup
1/3 cup sprinkles
For the Meringue
8 egg whites
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1 Question--is there a reason (and sorry if you've answered this before)---why you mix your Chiffons by hand? I mean...as opposed to using your KA Stand? I usually make my sponge types with my KA stands but never thought of by hand.
KA's kind of spoil you.
Does it yield a better texture you think because 'Chifs' are delicate?
I'm going to try it and put it to test.
2 reasons first its easier to clean whisk than kitchen :D second you are right chiffon cakes are dilicate and by using your hand to mix you control how much you mix and you can feel that you need to stop.

yes but if you are planning to put Icing I would suggest you used my vanilla cupcakes and just put funfetti on it it would be good
