No way in hell you paid $100,000 for it in 2007! Base price back then was $60,000. Even if you added alot of stuff to the ticket price, no way would that be another $40,000! I bought an H2 (not SUT). I got the original dealer sticker and it was around $54,000 FULLY LOADED.

I did a search and probably about 90% of the Hummers are going for less than $35K. I found one for $20K with 90K miles in really good shape. Now that said, you've got some low miles and I found some for around $40K price range, but comparing condition and miles, I think you are closer to $28 - $30K for an SUT in that condition and mileage.

Well I just bought an h2 for $23k with only 55,000 miles on it and not a scratch on it with no engine problems what so ever after I replaced a few censors that had gone bad. I don't this people would be paying $40k on a hummer anymore.

Mine was 90k and it's a fully loaded 2008 model. Better Engine and better Transmission than the 2007 model. It's possible he paid that, but usually it's loaded up like crazy, which I didn't see.

I brought a 2005 H2 Hummer SUT in 2007 for $26,000.00. It was sold in a auction as a demo from a dealership in New York. It was never in anyone's name. It needed a few repairs, but it was more nicer then this guy's $100's Hummer. I still have mine after 10 years with 128,000 miles and still love it. Have no plans to sell it, drive it mostly on the weekends.

My 03 Nissan Murano AWD gets 17 city 23 highway (US mpg) I throw $20 of gas money almost everyday - spending roughly $550 on gas a month. I average 18 mpg. It's my fault for not getting an economical car. I can't let it sit because I have to go places. My cars only worth $2,000 because of the 183k miles and fluids that leak. Maybe it would sell if I attempted to sell it but its it's hard to give up AWD since I live in Michigan
These things were never 100 grand and I looked at one yesterday for 17 grand with only 60 thousand miles.

Exactly in 2011 about 10 years ago I paid 150k for my house, today is worth over 350K with the current crazy house market. Just to give an idea of how bad we can lose tons of money with cars. But man those SUT are nice. I remember the Hummer frenzy and how expensive to own or drive one. I think the SUT is the only current one holding decent value. I like the idea of buying cool cars that hold value. FJ cruiser, honda s2000, the new defender will hold on too I think.

I have 2008 it's worth more now. In UK it's over 50.000 I've seen 2008 go for 80.000. if you look at A&L imports they sell some for over 100.000 so hope you kept yours.

was loaded. I remember going to the Hummer dealership in Grapevine, TX. in 2007. They were selling them for one model less then my model for $99,000 deck out. But you would half to be rich to buy one for that price and be really stupid.
Top of the line LUX package stickered at $57k in the US, but $100k in Canada makes sense.

if you paid 100k for a cadillac escalade in 07, this thing is only worth 20k today, 60% lost of value is not bad over 10 years, it's 15%-25% lost right after you drove the truck off the lot
C$100k in Canada is about right as he likely including the 13% tax he had to pay when buying it, so about 70-80k CAD and a "cool" rounding to shy of a 100k.
What he shall be really happy for is that they did STOP making these. If not a 2007 would today be worth nada! Now they are rare and have a following willing to pay to own one and there's few to choose from so man, this was your lucky strike!

You should never buy a vehicle thinking it’s an investment. I don’t know a single person driving that hasn’t take a net loss on a vehicle. It’s why in financing it’s considered a liability. It’s not an investment.

"parts and availability are slim" no they aren't... It's acdelco parts. The parts are easy. I have no issues on mine when it does need repairs (rare). Your leather is cracking because you didn't condition it. My H2 is older than Yours with more miles and has perfect leather.
