I actually tracked this Hummer down and found the dealer who bought it at the auction then I bought it from them. It looks a little different now, especially with the new wheels and tires that I put on. And those aren’t cd changers in the rear, they’re 2 amplifiers.

Arnold is who ruined the Hummer(HMMWV) name in the civilian market. Turned it into a celebrity thing. Maybe I am wrong, but that is my opinion.

The real value in this truck was it's the later model with the 6.2, 6spd and supercharger.
Way to much for older hummer no matter what the up grades are.🤷♂️ 2019 f150 5.0 . I'm not really a brand loyal guy I also have a chevy van and a 2018 Dodge. Durango Durango
I own an 08 with the same supercharger kit. They make hp in the low to mid 500s The early 6.2s that came in them are actually fantastic motors. They didn’t have the cylinder deactivation that was problematic on other trucks. However the early 6l80 transmissions were very problematic, but after some revisions they have greatly improved with time.
If you are ever down in GA let me know and y’all can have a day with a properly done 08 suv tastefully done up to 2023 standards.
I got an 08 H2 as well, as far as the 6L80e what problems have you had so far at what mileage?
@@DannyDonnatelli problems usually consist of the whole transmission shredding itself to bits anywhere between 20-100k. My parents had one that went out in their 08 at a little less than 30k. Mine was done at 70k.
Since then gm has done a lot of revisions to the 6l80s and the replacements seem much more stout than the originals.
I'm not sure if he is aware or if that is why he changed his name, but nene means "goose" in Hawaiian, more specifically, it's a particular breed of goose native to the islands. I lived there for a few years and took staycations at a local resort that named all the cabins. The cabin I usually stayed in was "Hale Nene" aka, "House of Goose". (And yes, we did use a few Top Gun puns with it). Anyway, the H1 is the best Hummer imo. I feel each generation got progressively worse. The Wrangler sized Hummer we never got would've been cool though...
It doesnt mean Goose in Spanish tho lol!

according to magnuson seller for the 6.2: "add you 120 horsepower and 120 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels" Don't quote me, but I believe the "average" increase in power is around 30% depending on the tune, but I've always used that as a measure to get an idea, I didn't realize they were buying the SUV since I skipped the end lol
the whole idea of auctions is to sell cheap.
When I was graduating in 07 the teachers would tell you that if you want to be successful and own a Hummer or Escalade you should stay in school and go to college. And if don't go to college you'll end up in a Prius.

I have a 2005 H2 with the 6.0 vortex engine I get right at 10 mi per gallon I thoroughly enjoy my suv

Very nice Hummer! If gas wasn't going back to $4+ a gallon thanks to Bidenomics, I'd totall drive one.
However in the clip coming out of the test strip, there is a jet black Buick either Lesabre or Park Avenue from the 90s, that looked nearly mint, I had a 1994 Buick Park Avenue that I absolutely loved and would totally buy one of those again too.
