Just a word of caution to anyone who's interested in AtlasOS, it used to be avoided because it removed important things like Windows Defender! It and other slim Windows OSes like it achieve the results they do by cutting down on pre-installed Windows programs, and while AtlasOS has an option to keep Defender and other stuff now, make sure you read *everything* if you install it, and read up on what stuff might break other programs if it's removed, in particularly Edge (thanks Microsoft 😑) These are not installers to just click through!
Oh and one more thing, you can get security updates, but you can't do feature updates anymore once you go through with AtlasOS (I think you CAN, but it reinstalls everything that Atlas removes, don't quote me on that tho, it might be straight up impossible to do feature updates after installing Atlas, I'm not 100% certain)
from my experience with atlas , yes it does increase fps and very good for low end pc i have a question for you : did you install atlas without wipe out your computer storage
