I love the love for Harmony - it was my first guitar an H-162 off the wall of the music store for $42. One addition, though, I'm pretty sure that most classical guitars are fan-braced. Very enjoyable series.
Have u tried the latest harmony acoustic guitar? Particularly the "foundation terra FS" series. The price quite cheap considering it came in fully solid body (top/back/side). Priced about usd400 or so. But crafted in china...
I found a mint condition '71 1203 with the original ladder bracing hanging in my local music store this summer....I had no idea what it was, but there was just something very funky about it.....I went ahead and gave them the $600 they were asking and took her home....I have obviously since learned all about them, especially the connection with Jimmy Page et al.....I did have the saddle and nut upgraded and confirmed the neck had undergone the typical reset, and a fine one at that, and lowered the action a bit.....other than that it was ready to go...I love the larger neck width at the nut, and the basically 00 concert body size....SWEET! Thanks for vids!
Hey! Hope you’re having a good day! I want to start off by saying I absolutely love old harmonies and I’ve been looking for one forever but I’m a lefty and can’t really find any and I noticed that yours all look like they have been converted into lefty!! Is that true? I also have a couple of questions about the luthier that you recommended if you don’t mind!!
Gary's Guitars Harmony had one x braced model guitar Harmony Opus is x braced. Harmony before they went out of business in 1975 were trying make higher end guitars to save the company but it failed Opus only Harmony that is x braced.
i haven't played since i was a kid but i really enjoy your videos. another great one. thank you.

Mr Gary I am becoming a fan of you
I recently acquired an H177, F70, it seems uncommon. What can you tell me about it.
Strap button neck reset is a cheaper option you can do on Harmony's.

I recently picked up an H6560 which is also X-braced. Solid top but laminated back/sides.
Bro you are lefty too? 🩷
Some of Korean Harmony's are xbraced
