      You don't want to burn it, but first you need to thaw it out.

    I got the pan hot like you said, and it burned the ground beef and created alot of smoke if i cook it ok anything past medium heat, what am i doing wrong

      If that happens you can lower the heat.

    I totally disagree on when to add onions - I like to add firmer veggies like that like halfway through the beef's cook time, maybe a little earlier if I want them softer. however, that's all about personal preference. some people like their meat deeply browned

      @@zxnod Hi, This defrost method is not for burgers. If you thaw in water for an hour (see MOMables other thaw vid) then you have thawed raw beef that you form into burger and then cook.

      Typically yes. That's why I created this video to show the difference in method if you're starting with frozen ground beef. Since we've all had that day when we forget to thaw out the meat for dinner!

    My love we have beginner cooking students watching trying to learn..next time just visually show what a "bit" of oil means..please just say the exact measurement 1 or 1/2 tspn./Tbsp.. so we'll know we're on our way..speaking for novices and beginner..we all love you..😘🥰
