- How to Cook Ground Beef in the Instant Pot - Perfect for Beginners!
This works for either fresh or frozen ground beef! No need to thaw it out first!!!
*Frozen meat add 5 min cook time*
Here is a quick video on how to cook Ground Beef in your Instant Pot along with a few Beginners tips on how to use your instant pot. Including what "slow release" and "quick release" mean.
This can be used to make 1 lb, 3lbs, 5 lbs, etc.
5 lbs is the max that will fit in a 6qt instant pot.
This is great for meal prep and to make the meals for the week SUPER quick and easy.

Question: do you put it on different amount of time for different sizes of meat? 2lbs vs 3lbs vs 5lbs?
I dont have an exact time but if its 2lbs id do maybe 15 min, 3 lbs 20 min, 5 lbs is the most i can fit and i do 25 to 30 min.
If its not fully cooked you will see that...just break it apart and cook 5 more min.

I do ground beef 88%, rice, potatoes, carrots, salt. I have Great Danes. They eat half kibble and half homemade food.
Oh nice! I love this idea. I also run a pet channel so im gona look into this. I also posted a video on this channel of how to easily breakup the meat once its cooked... with a cheese shredder. Works amazingly well

Once you take one of the frozen bags off beef out of the freezer to eat how do you heat them up? Do you put them straight into like a microwave for some time or?
I've thrown them in still frozen. I just out it in a little longer.

did it work? i use this method once a week!
Shortened it to 22 minutes, worked great! Was my second time using a pressure cooker, I get the appeal.. it’s crazy to me that I was able to do that with it being frozen solid!

It was a recall on the lid. They sent out new lids.
However mine broke for a different reason, user error lol.
