I’m retired and 69. My wife and I always cooked and entertained but when I retired I got serious. Watching Gordon on Master Chef Junior and cooking with his family has been a joy. The only down side is after spending my life (48 years) printing newspapers I feel I missed my true calling and now won’t have enough time to try all of Gordon’s recipes. Anytime you would like to stop over and cook Gordon your welcome! Thank you for how you inspire!
paulschade8009 I'm surprized that 47 people let you get away with saying you don't have or might not have enough time left to try all his recipes. None of us know if we'll even be here tomorrow. At any age. I'm 68 and I don't know when my time is up no more than you know yours..but I'm definately not going to waste my time worrying about it. If you let that fear keep you from doing something you might love, that would be a shame. I pray for you to change your way of thinking and go buy yourself an expensive set of cookware and get to cooking!❤

He really only resorts to profanity when it comes to resistance with food safety/contamination or safe practices. Unfortunately some people don't understand the severe gravity of these things until profanity enters the conversation.
Gordon never struck me as an impulsive swearer. He definitely does it on command to be assertive in his job.
What I love about this style of cooking video is that it feels like a random video you'd have in your camera roll. One you'd end up rediscovering years later, maybe on a particularly bad day, and smiling at the good memories.
