Lyrics are simply a springboard when Dirty Loops is involved; it's the musicality that is the highlight. And this combination of talents is TIGHT! Aron (the drummer) edits their videos and I love that he highlighted Grace's skank face. And he knows which musical lick to show to feature each musician.

All songs from the Turbo album (the record sitting on top of my piano) has the same setting. You could check out Turbo and Ring of Saturn from that album, quite different songs, a bit more Cory-influenced. Nice reaction!

Only four of those tracks tho have a music video attached. The others are audio only. About the lyrics, they're so hard to understand on most all their songs and they're different on different lyrics websites. I asked Jonah recently if there was a definitive and/or accurate source for lyrics and he said no. A lot of times, Aron writes the melody with gibberish words and asks Henrik to write lyrics that match the vowel sounds of his gibberish. So I think it's safe to say lyrics are secondary to the music with these guys lol.
Agree 👍 their lyrics often seem secondary. There are some songs from their Loopified album, as well as the lyrics from “Breakdown” where I get the feeling they matter a bit more. But these guys haven’t set out to write songs based on lyrics; it’s about their music…
For the "Loopified" album and "Phoenix" EP the lyrics are included in the CD booklet, but I agree, the lyrics are hopeless to find an accurate version of online. And as you said, they are secondary to them, so not really worth it to put too much time into analysing them. :D
