    Yeah guys he’s absolutely right you must get a catch can asap because if you don’t there will be so much carbon buildup you will start to lose power and the car will start to drive sluggish so i honestly 1000000% recommended a catch can asap 🤝💯😤 good video btw big dawg keep killing it 🤝😤💯

    This is the OCC I chose for my Stinger as well. Very high quality, and it looks like an OEM part.

      Nice! Yeah I wanted it to look OE as much as possible, at the end of the day it catches oil, but Mishimoto is 💯💯🐝🐝

    My catch can only lasted two years so $200+ is just too much for a can that lasts 2yrs only. One of the seals must have given up, my pvc valve was rattling…

    I installed the BMS Zero Maintenance can. I can't empty it to see if it's working. Since it's designed to drain back into crankcase. But I twisted it apart just to see when I replaced my filters with KN drop ins. There was a little oil before the baffles. So I guess it is catching it. Great explanation btw 👍

      That’s a good one, if you have had it on during the winter chances are it’s catching more condensation than anything. The intro to my last vid was 3 months 2k miles and 75% was condensation sludge

    hey so I've been meaning to get a catch can but i've seen two different types - single valve and dual valve. do you know what the difference is and which one might be better over the other? cheers

    • @twn2rbo
      @twn2rbo  3 роки тому +2

      You definitely would want a dual valve like this one , as long as it has PCV port in and a hose out to the intake with a baffle and micron filter, it really doesn’t matter IMO. They are all catching oil and blow by :) people really like the Add1 v3, but as long as you get one you’ll be good. K8 store has 4 options and all are good IMO

  • @rpmautoreviews9249
    @rpmautoreviews9249 3 роки тому +1

    some install two ? are two really needed for some reason ? and I've seen some videos mention hot air that's blown back with catch can and there's an additional little air filter thingy to install as well ? Will only adding one catch can create any flow problems in other aspects of the car running well and not blowing hot air into the intake, or is that normal ?

    • @twn2rbo
      @twn2rbo  3 роки тому

      I don’t think so, I guess it would be less maintenance. Not a fan of the system that recycle the blow by back into the engine, but two cans would be more volume. I believe this one was well thought out and simple, not the biggest can, but then again I’ll empty it out around every oil change. As far as the hot air I wouldn’t see any changes since it’s all once sealed system still , going to the catch can first may help it cool down a degree or so. At the end of the day, they all catch oil and blow by, as long as it has a good micron filter and baffle, I wouldn’t worry about it 🐝🐝💨💨💨

    • @twn2rbo
      @twn2rbo  3 роки тому

      Haven’t looked into that, hopefully it doesn’t return the oil back into the engine to “recycle” it. I wouldn’t want that stuff back in my oil since it’s not pure oil going back in.

      @@joshuabreen yeah I thought that’s what it was, not a fan of that, but hey - no maintenance. One thing is that a OCC cannot be forgotten about, if it over flows , you will have much bigger problems than you would not having one at all.
