In today's video I explain why your KIA STINGER or Hyundai GENESIS G70 3.3T needs a Oil Catch Can! I use ADD W1 oil catch can to show how to install a oil catch can on your KIA STINGER 3.3T. I worked with the best to bring you a How to, ADD W1 OIL CATCH CAN Installation video for your KIA Stinger, and Hyundai Genesis G70. I show how to install a oil catch can from ADD W1 and how easy it is to install on Kia STINGER.
What is an oil catch can? Do oil catch cans actually work? What do oil catch cans do? Can oil catch cans prevent carbon deposit from building up on intake valves? In This video I explain why your KIA needs a oil catch can, demonstrating how they work, and a brief illustrations about PCV systems and valve deposits.
Oil catch cans are placed between the PCV valve and the port on the intake manifold, allowing for the oil catch can to remove any oil/ oil vapors that would otherwise end up back into your intake manifold and worse valves, which can cause gunk deposits to form on the intake valves. Therefore decreasing the lifespan of your engine and reducing the power of your engine.

What CAI do you think you will be going with?
I have K&N CAI, ark down pipes, Stillen full cat back exhaust, jb4, add W1 CC, Big Mouth flares, Denso 1 step colder Sparks.
Not loud, not too quiet, sounds pretty good to not let people know where you are a mile away.
Im guessing the look and “more is better” but with the new design of the 3.3 version it makes for a more functional and aesthetically pleasing look. Appreciate you commenting that!
As for CAI so far Im planning on waiting for my tuner so I can do a FULL BOlT on and motor build. The goal is GTR status of power but well see if we can make that happen. Your setup sounds really good btw💯💯

Is the stinger only direct injection or also port. If it has port isn’t the catch can kinda pointless?
Not alot in you can, maybe because it's warmer in your area. My cans in the winter fill fast.

Great vid man, I usually shop at k8stingerstore and they actually just added the ADD W1 v3 OCC to their shop, I've been looking at the Mishimoto Direct Fit OCC for a bit but I like the idea of the BMS maintenance free can so that I don't have to worry about emptying on my own. Any thoughts on the Mishimoto and BMS (maintenance free) compared to the ADD W1?
I wouldn’t be able to say any knowledge on the bms or mishimoto catch cans because Im not quite familiar with them. But i love the feeling of being able to see the add w1 catch can do its work. And cleaning it only takes 1 minute at most so far loving it🖤
