@@highlyactivecannabis3344 I did, I watched a video on UA-cam and purchased the swivel socket and adapters and was able to do it without removing the intake. It took about 3 hrs.
Great videos man, I love how you seem to be well-informed and well-researched (a quality few Stinger UA-camrs seem to have). Might sound stupid, but the spark plugs needing to be changed is holding me back from getting a JB4. I wish they didn't need to be changed. I'm certain I could tackle the job no issue, but I'm trying to keep everything as easily-reversible as possible with changing as few parts as possible (maybe I'm just paranoid, lol). In the rare event something goes totally wrong and the car requires serious warranty work I don't want to raise any flags by having aftermarket plugs in. Last thing I need is a 10k repair bill for engine work because they denied coverage. Maybe I'll change my mind once the car gets a bit older, as I only have 1,500mi on my 2022 GT1.
You are in the exact same position I was. I had around 1,500 miles and my car was brand new and I started researching the JB4 after I did the intakes. I had to balance the sound of intakes out with MBRP, not too loud, but can scream if you want. (Check out my YT Short Clip I just uploaded) Anyways, yes - lot of anxiety about it, but I wanted to maximize my intake and exhaust. I finally worked up the courage to do it, under one condition, NOT remove the intake manifold. So I watched as many UA-cam videos as possible and got the essential tools to do it and I didn’t rush myself, it took me 3 hrs and lots of patience. I’m a mortgage underwriter, far from a mechanic. So all I can recommend is keep watching videos on how to install it and work up the confidence, you CAN do it, I can. Best of luck and thanks for watching 🙏
The engines are solid but you def have good reason with a new one. But rest assured, if there is a problem, after-market plugs are not a warranty-voiding installation. I spoke with several sales and service reps at 4 or 5 dealerships and they've told me that those aren't usually looked at and those that have blown engines either over-boosted or had improper tunes with poor ignition timing. I've had my 2021 GT1 for 4 months and right around the 1500-2000 mile mark is when I got mine installed and have loved it ever since and I'm over 11k miles now. (I drive way way too much)

That E-85 is virtual and for logging it’s not accurate. You have to buy the fuel it flex fuel kit. It’s worth it I have it and auto tunes the jb4 based on the 0-5v input. Make sure you test the E85 with a tester kit depending on where you live the ethanol content varies greatly.
Yeah that’s what BurgerTuning said too, I agree . Right now I’m going off what other people did to achieve e30, but not all fuel is equal, so that would be helpful

Thanks! No, map 1 and 2 I couldn’t feel anything in the seat, its minimal gains on dyno. Map 3 + is when you feel it. You need to figure out a way to get that octane up or mix your 91 with some e85. The stinger is good for up to e30 on stock fuel parts
Correct :) I will be making an additional video with some news I received directly from BurgerTuning regarding the LagFix and how to adjust it. Also, it is confirmed that e85 requires a special kit they sell to accurately read ethanol levels in the fuel.
I don't get it, its reading 24% E85 but its showing a 14.7 AFR. 14.7 is petrol AFR and if you were running straight E85 then idle AFR would be around 9.7. So with a blend of around 30% E85 and the rest unleaded shouldn't it be in the mid 11-12 range? Maybe even 13. But aside from that how the hell does it read the fuel if it has no flex senser?
Same here! Good news, BurgerTuning just got ahold of me. You are right, they said it can read it, but it’s NOT accurate and they sent me a link for the FlexFuel kit. I factor in 25% drivetrain loss so true wheel hp would prob be around the 340-350 mark on 93. Slightly less on 91. The higher the octane of course the tuning power is maximized. Stinger GT comes stock with around 290-300 to the wheels and I would add 50-60 wheel hp on 93 with supporting mods /map 1/2. This will make a good video when I make it to the dyno.
