My neurologist subscribed magnesium oxide 600mg per day along with 400mg B2 per day. This has ENDED my 20+ year journey of migraines. A good start to my better health and life productivity. Best wishes.
I rub magnesium solace oil on the bottom of my feet nightly. It helps me sleep and I noticed the brain fog has lessened quite a bit. I definitely had a magnesium deficiency. Im so glad I found out about the magnesium oil Im using.
Bought your book last month ..started IF and cutting creamer from coffee. The cinnamon and salt trick is working! I take (alot) magnesium at night for sleep and to help with constipation. Love your teaching, thanks for getting this information out there!
I can't thank you enough for sharing this information. I have been suffering from many of the symptoms of mag deficiency (extreme fatigue, irregular heart beat (an intermittent fluttering feeling), muscle twitching, depression, interrupted sleep patterns and a few others.) I have spoken to my doctors about these symptoms on many occasions and besides having my heart checked (which was ok) no one suggested that I might need more magnesium. I actually got no suggestions regarding my fatigue issues. I checked my diet app & I don't get enough in my diet, so I'm going to try a supplement & see if it helps. Thanks again!!
46 years old and I wake up 4-5 times per night. Upon looking through Facebook I found a spray of magensium and I found a difference straight away. If I forget, I really notice a difference on my sleep. If skin application doesn't make it bio-available, how is this so? Thank you so much for taking the time to give us all this information 🙏 x
Magnesium Glycinate, both am & pm, helps my restless leg syndrome. It also helps a little bit with my sleep, although menopause has started causing me to sleep much lighter and not get very restful sleep. I still wake up often during the middle of the night and it takes awhile to fall back asleep each time.
@M.Autumngazr I had the same problem with sleeping I had to turn to HRT at 64 yrs old I hated I waited so long. They will put you through a series of test 1st before they put you on it. Best of luck to you🙏🏼😍
Def run this past your doc, but my primary care physician recommended I take more of my iron supplement to help with restless legs and it fixed that issue for me practically overnight. Instead of taking 1 iron tablet, I take 2. Still something you should check with a doctor, but it's a common recommendation from what I understand.
If magnesium are all different, how are foods raising levels? Are different foods raising different magnesium levels? For example, if I eat a handful of almonds, what kind of magnesium is it helping? How does it cover it overall? I hope I'm making sense.
I got rid of my migraines with aura with magnesium glycinate. I wonder if I could have cured my adolescent seizures with aura with it when I was little.
I recently got rid of my migraines with magnesium oxide 600mg per day. Adding 400mg of B2 daily to this helped even more. No headaches. Wish I'd known 20+ years ago.
I really want to listen to your videos, but most of them are so long that I just don't have the time. Is there any way you could condense the info in your videos for 15-minute videos?
Hi, loving your book-question about magnesium (or any supp)- even if you track your food and it appears on paper you get enough through food, it’s possible one’s body does not absorb it efficiently, correct? So really, you have to get labs to find out your levels despite eating and/or supplementing, is that correct?
Hello , I just found your vids . I so appreciate them and how much needed information you give out to us .. I have a couple of questions if I may ... 1. What should we reach for in Magnesium ranges ? 2. What should our vitamin D levels be ? These are very important to out health to be optimal ! Thank you
I recently had my mag tested and the way the level is presented is a decimal range how does that range get converted to mg the range level is1.5-2.5 mg/dL ? How does one convert to see your recommended 300 mg
I am going thru menopause and my sleep is all over the place. Can't seem to sleep more then 6 hours without waking. Do you think magnesium glycinate will work
Hi There Dr Haver. Would you be able to recommend a good hormone doctor in the Boston south shore area? I hope to be moving there shortly and want to see hormone doctor.
I know I am late finding this, I take a PPI for heartburn/GERD. I read that I should be taking extra magnesium. I then went and asked my pharmacist and he said yes, although he didn’t really say which one.(American living in Germany)
A friend recommended this video to me. The information is valuable however I could only listen to the video, not watch. Kind note to Dr. Haver: since you speak with your hands, it would be less disconcerting for the viewer if the camera was elevated. It was off-putting to see your hands and fists in close up.
Hello I’m a 40 year old female with twitches throughout body and heart palpitations (PVC/PAC). My palpitations happen almost every day anywhere from 1-10 a day. I do take 250mg magnesium citrate before bed most nights. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
Try potassium (99mg pill/otc) with meals. Start with one pill/meal and see how you feel. I do best with 2-3 pills for breakfast & lunch, and 1-2 for dinner. Don't go over that amount because it can affect your cycles. If you feel overly sleepy, that's a sign of too much potassium.

I just started your diet 10 days ago! It absolutely works and isn't hard to follow! Finally an easy to follow diet and I'm never hungry!

Yes! Glycenate made my restless legs settle down. Wish I'd tested for deficiency sooner!
Same. I use glycine dissolved in water for that breakthrough

Blood test on magnesium isn't always correct because doctors use the typical blood test. Magnesium tests has to be done intercellular.
