I love the specialist roles in space marine armies, they break up the colour scheme nicely and are a great way to add some cool abilities to the army. The contrast method works well here, proof that it scales up well to a character.
One of my favorite marine minis. I feel you when you're talking about a tipping point when you're basecoating. When I can mentally see how it's going to look like, it motivates me to get it to the end. I'd vote for the good old chaplain next, btw
Been working on Black Templars for a while now, thanks to your vids. Been toying with the idea of painting up Grimaldus' squad from the Hellsreach book, but wasn't sure how to paint the techmarine & lo and behold you deliver once again :D
Great choice on the Sons of Dorn, I’ve been a long standing fan of the templars. I like the simplicity of your paint job with great execution. Nicely done, thanks for sharing 👍🍻
Great video as usual, I actually ran across another player using a Tech Marine, though his chapter is Ultramarines, he did a good job, but could certainly use to watch this video. :D
Nice simple scheme, I’ve got two on my desk I’m working on so I’ll be following along. Would you still use black Templar for the blacks or would you swap up now black legion was here?
next more special Space Marine should of course be the Noise Marines! 🤘Metal🤘!! You could also do the sad and depressed noise marines aren't heavy metal blasting legends. other more unique Space Marines I'd like to see are the "Techmarine with Servitors" kit, it's super busy. The fairly basic Firestrike Servo-turret. The cool Librarian with a Cherub floating around him.Yet another busy techmarine with the Thunderfire Cannon. And last but not least, the ugly but still beautiful Scouts, just look at their dumb faces!!!
Hahhaha so many strange requests. If I’m being honest and model that is resin or metal o probably won’t do as I don’t think they have long to live. But maybe the scouts for the fun of it.

Appreciate that. And yes it’s a great way of ending colour to an army.

Man super cool painting tutorial. Thank you to make these videos. ❤️
Thank you for watching them.
can't wait to see the other specialist space marine tutorials!
Glad your looking forward to them pal.
Love the look of this mini and the paint job. Apothecary with the white armour would be great please
Solid idea.

Awesome pal.
I think many people would find the white of the Apothecary a little daunting so maybe leave that for last?
That’s a great idea.
cant wait for the lamenters (you can do the simple shoulder pad)
The lamenters checkered with the heart?!
@@MediocreHobbies yeah you just do four
Space Wolves please! Great video!

Bowl templar all the way. I find very little use for the other one.
I too like to use the Air version of some GW paints namely the metals and corvus black
They just pre thinned paints. There great.
