On average probably form 250 to 300 day of the year you right but as you can see on www.shmu.sk it has already been hotter in Chopok than in Bratislava this Winter.
So glad you enjoyed Bratislava. However, the hotel you are staying in - the Park Inn is probably the most hated hotel in the city by the locals :-) The owner has broken several regulations and erected a cheap-looking modern building in the very historical center. That is why many locals ignore or despise it.

Truth be told, since 6th december until New Year the town is full of people celebrating something, after that people prefer to give their liver some vacation too and normal workweek resumes at 6th of January after over 2 weeks of christmas holiday.
I live in Bratislava whole life and i must say, this weather, last 5-10 years have nothing to do with winter and coldness. 10 years ago was like - 10° everyday and snow everywhere u look and now? Its like 0 - 6° :/

Now more decades living in North -West Canada ... and this winter was warmer as usual ( just -20 to -40, still now frozen lakes and snow) - previous winter we had record -51 , well I like winter maybe I have to move again more up North !? Nice to hear you have such a good time in my town :) 2€ for bear is actually pretty high for us, with our low salary :( Hope you came here again and explore more from Slovakia not only the main city but other regions like high Tatras, those are incredible, lots of incredible thinks in such a small place(amazing nature, high mountains peaks, great wellness, beautiful tourism, great services) peoples in Slovakia far from Bratislava are much more friendly, little crowdy in the summer.
And imagine, that Bratislava is located to lowlands, so it's the warmest place to visit in our country. This winter was -16 °C in Banská Bystrica, where I live.
Funny fact. Since 1. January of 1969 till 1990, today Slovak Republic was called Slovak socialistic republic and it was part of federation with own national council. Since 1990 till 1993, word socialist was dropped from name and whole name of federation with brothers Czechs was called Czech and Slovak Federative Republic. So beer is not older then Slovakia :P
Slovakia is a small country near Ukraine, Romania, Poland but it's a beautiful place lot of historical place & events, lot of building built hundred years ago.
