You asked about catacombs - Paris has very famous and large catacombs. They are creepy, no matter which country. Doing these trips by yourself without a local to take you to the right places is tough, you do miss a lot and your questions don't get answered on the spot. Like with the historic pastry, 3 eur is not that expensive if you know what they are and how historically significant they are. For the food, yeah, the sour flavor is quite prominent in Slovak cuisine 😅 Not much of the food is spicy and if it is, it's most likely Hungarian, which is also another delish cuisine. Glad you found the city nice but I wish you had a local with you. Hope you get to chat with someone on your next trip and you get to ask them questions. Have fun on your travels 😊
@@EvanandLemon when you say Slavic, do you mean Slovak? Or do you mean foods of all the other Slavic nations? I found this online: Slavic people (Slavs) can be divided into three subgroups based upon their geographic and linguistic distribution: West Slavs (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia), East Slavs (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine), and South Slavs (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia). Countries with substantial Slavic populations, but which aren't majority Slavic countries include Germany and Denmark.
The difference between the words Slovak and Slavic is small, especially for a foreigner, do kudos for learning about this 🥰 You can think of it as Hispanic (group of countries, cultures, people) vs Spanish (pertaining to Spain or the language). Not perfect analogy, but it may help. 👍🏻
what a disrespectful person, all your words contain disrespect here, you know he misspelled the word but you took it seriously, you should drop a lovely or informative comment like others in the comment section but no 😒
It's a country of 5 million people compared to cities like London with 9 million people in one city so yeah if you know a bit about Europe, this wouldn't surprise you
