I literally have watched so much in the past month
To solve the busy junction, you could decide to either bridge or tunnel the tram tracks and ped path over or under the road and smooth the road out to be a gentle curve. If the tram still needs to connect, you can make it do so somewhere with less traffic flow. Just an idea, love the Cities content 👌

8:45 doesn't all need to be on the same level, could have some of it going over or under.
Something I learned from some other YT video about either Denmark or Netherlands bus systems. One or both of them have dedicated bus overpasses so the bus routes seldom have to stop for other forms of traffic.

Kibitz the green cites DLC only is for residential not commercial so the wall-to-wall building you see are commercial

Oh, that seems short and sweet. Do you have any plans for the area across the smaller river, where the marina has a view of, or are you going to leave it as-is for now? Because I think it would make for a great monument location of some sort, or perhaps a park or giant tower. Whatever fits the symbol of the city.
Oh, and the reason the walkable city building 'took over' the area is because those aren't the ones set to Green Cities buildings - you set the residential to be as such, meaning the apartment towers and the individual houses. The ones which remain modern and blocky are commercial (other than the few strings of offices sprinkled in as well), but I think it really does work all the better now. It makes it feel connected, with that being a line of the rest of the city connecting to this remarkably separate community literally right next to it, where the buildings are bigger and the roads wider because of the downtown nature of it, as opposed to the suburbs it opens up into.
The other transit options _do_ work well - the subway will probably be the best of ways to get that intersection fixed, along with, y'know, maybe moving the tram connection to cross elsewhere (though continuing it as a straight would make for a few too many intersections in one place... perhaps a tunnel or bridge would do better), but particularly the former because they take such little space. Also, you should definitely incorporate more of this tiered, retaining-wall type key stuff into the city as you go, because it would allow for some great use of the cable cars as compact transport up the walls. Layering the city also will perhaps allow for easier use of tunnels (though I don't think they go through key walls very well since your roads are usually meant to be _out_ of the water, but technicalities). Wondering if canals will see use, as they're pretty satisfying to fit into the keys too.
there is a small island i would but the tallest building in the game with e most expencive bridge ever

Inspired by kibitz's city skylines vids I also started my city named Kanzen: OCDC which I'm trying to make as perfect as possible It's a headache but I do love seeing no complain bubbles.

The Green Cities DLC also adds a different specialization for Commercial, that's all local markets and electric cars and green stuff. So you could switch it to that instead if you want it all consistent.

Welcome back.
I think your "city for the people" could benefit from some curved roads. It's so brick-ish. Too symmetrical, I know it's your thing but some imperfections to ad a little contrast could work.
Living in Germany we do not have these block design in city's as much as over the pond.
Just ad a little insanity I guess.
Also the road down to that bay area could be curved.
