It's always not easy to say goodbye to our old friends. BTW, I would love the tank without the background plants. But the whole scape is still awesome.
I was thinking about that. This material I have now is ok and doesn't warp. I had fully acrylic lids that would warp after a few weeks under the LED lights. I will have to think of something. Thanks for the suggestion.
Sorry to see that your fish jumped out the same thing happened to me aswell 😢do you also have recommendations on fish that that live without heaters and enjoy cooler temperatures
There are really a lot of fish that can live without a heater; endlers, guppies, CPDs, White cloud minnows and all river (Hillstream) species, Scarlet badis...I keep even some species that require heather without it but I do heat my fish room and keep it at 21C minimum during winter.
im sorry for your loss... . and I hope you don't mind if I ask you... Would it be feasible to adopt 3 baby panda garra into a mature 13 gallon (5 year old) tank, while my new 32 gallon tank cycles? And once the 32-gallon one is active for 4-5 months, move the garras from the 13-gallon aquarium to the 32-gallon one? - I ask this because here where I live, it is very likely that in the next 2 months, the price of the panda garra will increase x2 or x3... And instead of having a total of 3 or 5 like I'd like, I could only have 1 or 2 max. - thanks in advance, really.

Thanks.

I was thinking of doing a hardscape only tank but changed my mind at the last moment.
My favorite aquarium between all your projects. Makes me desire a Hillstream aquarium too hahah
I love Hillstream aquariums. I will introduce one or two more species here. After that I need to start planning to make a new and bigger one.
Sad to hear :( I lost my favourite CPD in the same way. He was the star of the show.
It is worst way to lose fish. I just got some CPDs recently and will make an aquarium for them. They are amazing fish.
@@IMaqua Yeah always feel super guilty. Hard to avoid in summer heat waves like you said though. 😔
I love Mr. bulldog! He is so cute!
Mr. Bulldog is my favourite fish...
Rip Panda Garra, may you rest in peace
RIP
You should try a semi-open lid, acrylic on the edges and nylon mesh in the middle. Doesn't hold the heat

Joli projet! Quelles sont les températures selon les saisons ? Été /hiver ?
I kept this aquarium at the room temperature with seasonal fluctuations; 20C - 26.5C.
