It's kinda good and all but for the fishes it's kinda crowded, no much space to move on. Aquarium suppose to let fishes to move freely as they are already in a prison (or in a submarine). I admit, it looks good at the aquatic grass like that in a house, but i like to see the fishes more.
With no water changes i assume you are adding minerals to the water as changing the water is not only about removing nitrates but adding what your fish need anaerobic bacteria will grow and eat the nitrates turning them into nitrogen ,,,please list all water parameters
A great point !! I do value living water and how when you see it up close w/ loads of beneficial life including the real possibility for most hobbyists to really step back and let the plants , substrate , what fish , how many and simply topping w/ remineralized RO . No good reason to take the chance by adding contaminated water into any tank , especially a no water change type. This is not meant to be a slap but as long as I have been watching your channel @AQUAGUY UK I have always felt the 1 thing you might try to avoid is being in your aquariums so much , I am sorry if you feel this is negative advise but I think it's worth mentioning & Great intention only I assure u but perhaps the issues we all face in our pursuit of a balanced tank gets the biggest whack from too much hands on husbandry ☯️
I dont know anything about my parameters. Funny story about it: i bought a JBL Test set 3 Years ago and brought it home. Then in unpacked it in the living room. My Mom sat there and laughed at me: What are you doing? Did you buy a childrens Chemical laboratory? No Mam, they told me i have to know the Water parameters! Why? We never did that! (My Mom and my Dad did Natural Watertanks since i was born 55 Years ago). So i checked all Tanks. And guess: Everything was OK. During the testing my Mom didnt stop telling Jokes about it. So i packed the JBL Suitcase and since then i never opened it again. If you like, you can buy it. I payed 60 Bucks and it is used just one time. 😁
How dare you assume those poor fish identities!! What if they decided they wanted to identify as rainbow powered squirrels that only come out at dawn? Just kidding 😂I really like your tank setup. Im doing mine right now.
What’s too far about this? The fish are in the perfect habitat, small fishes in the wild don’t spend their time in the wide open water that’s how they get eaten
Very nice!!! This is still challenging but if you know what you're doing absolutely no filter is needed
In mine experience you need:
Deep Soil
Heavy Planted
Fast growing Plants.
That couch looks very comfortable
Yes.. :-) I wanted a deep Couch :-)
very kool set up sr!!! ❤✌🏽
Thank you!! 👍
What kind of plants are that
Many. Tiger Lotus, Valisneria, Hornwort, Cryptocoryne...
Very healthy aquarium. Any idea what the water GH and KH is?
No, i am Sorry. I never use to test the water :-)
@@peterpanch hahahaha nice answer)))))))))))

That's the only good answer 👍
Very nice tanks.
Thanks alot!
Beautiful
Thats a great looking tank
Thanks alot!!
Nice aquarium
Thanks alot!
You could maybe trim a little of the plants and the filter isn't doing anything when all those plants make so much oxygen. Great tank though.
have you used co2
No. Never. I use DeepSoil and HeavyPlanted. That's all.
fantastic! I want to do this but on a smaller, 50lt tank. /also you're in Winterthur!? interesting... Ive never been there but wanted to.
Sand and peat with no soil?
Yes, simple Playgroundsand and Garden Peat. Nothing else. Garden peat gives much slower the nutrients to the Plants and water. same as in the garden.
Top soil . From your yard, which isn't sanitized, 1 inch.. bottom, and 2 inch sand on top..
That’s easy to say but what do they identify as ?
Beautiful aquarium. Do you know father fish UA-cam channel. He also kept fish like this.
I know him. And also Ocean Aquarium. 👍
@@peterpanchfollow his method

Please slow down your camera work…….so much to see!
Looks horrible i.m.o
I love overgrown planted aquariums but this is much, much too far my man.

Hard disagree with you @frankvee
Love you set-ups...your looking into their world.😊
