Thank you so much for providing this video. I was able to take my printer apart to find out what was wrong. Unfortunately a plastic piece had snapped and you can forget finding a replacement after 9 years. But at least I could figure it out for myself and not replace the printer for something fixable.
You took apart everything but the assembly I needed to see lol! Where the top piece clicks in the wheel under and another white piece no clue where other white piece goes. It came out when i removed paper jam.
Hi Thank you for your videos on the hp 100 mobile printer. I have one which I have taken out to use again after not using for Hi Esther year however it now only prints in magenta and black. I have tried everything with the initial hp catride which shows strong blue, magenta and yellow when I press on a lint cloth. Do you think there is something wrong with the printer itself and I should get a new one rather than seek to get it repaired. I would be so grateful for your comments ad you do seem knowledgeable on these printers
Does that printer have a printhead unit ? It doesn't seems. I have the same one, and despite puting new ink cartridges in it, and using the "cleaning printhead" option, it barelly prints anything on the paper. Any idea of what i should clean by myself and where ? I'm gonna use some isopropyl alcohol to do that btw.
I have the same problem with Envy 5030. I wanted to buy alcohol cleaning set but it looks like there is nothing to clean in this model... And to get out printhead unit you have to disassemble whole printer. I guess I will visit professional service in that case...
@@piotrcwiertniewski4213 Well wait : i did went into the printer, without disassembling anything : when you open the printer to acces the cartrigdes, on the far right, you might see to white rectangles. Those are used by the printer to "dump" some leftover ink or something. Mine were totally full and messy. I used alcohol and earbuds to clean them as much as i could, and now it works fine again ! :)
@@piotrcwiertniewski4213 also, clean the cartrigdes with alcohol (in case there is some dry leftover ink) and also the cartrigde holder : i had some dry ink on it too :)
Hi what would be the problem if my hp envy 4500 keeps on shutting down, i turn and about a minute or two it will shutdown, what would be the problem is it power supply or software? please help thank you..
I'm sorry. I had that problem when fixing printers. I recommend being very careful when removing parts. Sometimes you don't need to remove much to fix or replace a certain part.
@@303electronics I had to remove more parts to clean all the spilled ink inside and in the sponges. There's some small metal pieces I can't figure out where they belong to.
Hello I could really use your help, I printed some printable vinyl through my printer but it peeled itself away whilst printing so I have vinyl stuck under the rollers. I’ve got as much as I can out but it still won’t take paper through and I can’t reach it to get it out 😭 is there anyway I can lift up the rollers but the long metal bar?
I bought this printer for 5$ cartridges is not reading ink. I bought new black 61. And it still doesn't do anything. Hp smart doesn't even see the printer on ? What to do ?

I broke the pink cartridge lock that holds the color cartridge in place.Do you have parts like that or know where I can find it.Thank you.

This is great! My problem is that I took some more parts after what you've done and now I can't seem to assemble them all again :(

Did you ever get this fixed? I have the same issue. Paper wrapped around the metal rod and stuck under the rollers.
