I have a 2024. Use the akro muffler it came with with arrow header sounds perfect that’s what I did. If you go with a short muffler you will lose torque. It shoots flames 🔥and gets rid of the flat spot in the rev range.
I used the BT Moto stage 1 tune on my 2023 with the akra headers and stock muffler, runs great and no issues. In Race Pro mode, I get the feedback I love too.
It's not about which exhaust is the best for the BMW S1000RR they all are the same power wise it's about the tone and SC project is my favorite because it got that high pitch sound which I love so much.
Sc project or arrow for a full line. Sc project is a little loude and high pitched then the arrow. But both sound amazing. Moto million sells the full sc project titanium line if ever you have trouble finding one.
Manny did a complete overview of all teh options for the M1000RR....its identical for the S1000RR as well....I dont think there is a whole lot of difference except for the volume of noise!! The Arrow header is supposedly thinner titanium than the Acra....but I dont think there is any difference as far as power goes. THe Arrow is actually easier to install, as you install 1 header pipe at a time, and then connect to the collector after its all installed....seems WAY easier than trying to connect all 4 at a time. I am with you on the shifter...LIKE BUTTA!!!!!! ua-cam.com/video/6qQGW36H-i8/v-deo.htmlsi=C1VPiIGzuWiZgWF1 You need a tune and the BT tune will allow full range tuning vi the wide band O2 sensors, but you need his tune to get it to allow a wider range of adjustment...it also gets rid of the throttle restriction..
I have the 2024 S1k as well. I just bought the Arrow Full Titanium like 650i M. However, I want the bike as loud as possible and to be honest if I wasn't going to do that, I would most likely do what you are doing with the AKRA Headers in titanium and either keeping the stock muffler (BMW from what I heard recommends that muffler for performance) compared to a shorty that might rob you of some HP. At least that is what I heard. Can't verify... You have to get it tuned for sure to many dead spots. I just bought the BT stage 1 no need for stage 2.. I plan on doing all this work this month in July.. Buy the Rizoma stealth mirrors.!
Arrow titanium full system only weighs 7lbs ish lbs. Stock system weighs about 24 lbs. You shave 17 lbs.... People say the stock muffler with swapped header still sounds to quiet for them.
I love mine quiet. I hate riding in 90° weather with earplugs in and can't hear what's going on around me cuz my ears are ringing the whole time, and waking up the entire neighborhood EVERY single time I come and go. I don't need all that annoyance and extra attention... each his own though.
SC project gets my vote
My pals S1000RR equipped with the shorty SC project sounds badass..

I have the akrapovic and the akrapovic gp slip on. It’s on my ‘24 s1000rr. Very loud though! I love it though.

Can't go wrong with the Rizomas. Planning to get them for my M1000rr. Gives it more of an airo look.
I chose SC Project, I love how loud it is.
Akrapovic exhaust + sc project slip on = 👌
I'm rocking a Spark Exhaust. Sounds pretty damn good. If you are on the S1000rr forum you can check out what it will look like.
Mine gets Nanny-Tune removed Friday morning!! WOOT!! I love the gas inlet goes down an inch or 2...
Just got my 24 s1k as well and ordered the full akro exhaust with the akro shorty. Can’t wait to put it on!
Going to sound sick 🤙
Brock’s performance is good as well on the s1000rr

Rizoma makes TINY signals that you can mount on the inner fairing up by your forks...super cool....
Cool thanks
Spark Grid-o. Full system not the slip on.
If you know you know.

I got Arrow exhaust on my GS and love it, but I would go with short Akra or SC-Project for RR.
arrow exhaust pipes are my favorite
Hi, great video. By getting the BTmoto tune . Does it void warranty from dealer ?
I always tell people to be safe if you’re worried about a warranty don’t do anything to your bike

AUSTIN RACING GP3!!! it's amazing with the AR22 Inconel Headers
What city are you in? Have you done much city riding or riding for multiple hrs? How is heat from the engine?
I will be doing li get rides. In my experience heat is not an issue
Wbu the SC Project Slip on ?
Sc project exhaust is the best.
Austin racing exhaust
I say Akra all the way 🤙
The biggest reason BMW's are not beginner bikes is because they are far more likely to break down on the side of the road... LOL OH SNAP!
😂
a remark on an empty stomach :))
