Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the reason is that the Dragon Palace isn't directly submerged in water. When you're at the entrance to the Palace and look around, you notice that the whirlpool is creating a large vortex around the palace itself, therefore keeping all water behind a cylindrical spiraling wall around the Palace. Which would mean that only air from the upper atmosphere exists within the center of the spiral, therefore allowing fire to breathe. That's my theory at least.
So beautiful, so Calming, this is truly a very relaxing melody/music I have ever heard. I'm very glad i'm getting this game soon, it lets me be at ease. :D.
my friend's been looking for Okami for like, a year and a half or something xD is it possible to get it in alberta???? perferably somewhere close to calgary xD
... Yes i can. once Me and Waka just came back to nippon from the celestial plain to just have a good time and relax we went to the dragon palace and Had a date!
as much as I'd like to remove the thoughtless, negative comment, allow me to explain. extended versions are the same pieces played over and over again. sorry I wasnt a master at audio editing transitioning PERFECTLY one piece into the next at the age of 16. Since this was posted I have gained an attitude of only releasing work that is of excellent quality. I'm sorry this isnt the looped masterpiece you want but I made the best of what I had and people obviously liked what matters, the music. The point of an extended version is you can listen over and over without having to replay the video, for instance if someone uses this to go to sleep because, let's be honest, it's relaxing, then they dont have to take out their iPod/Phone etc and play it again.
graham5327 Okay, well I take your point that people want to play the video over again, but UA-cam already has the functionality for that - people can simply put the 2-minute version on repeat. The point of an extended version is that the main part of a song goes on naturally without having to listen to the intro and outro multiple times. I appreciate you may not have known how to do that - neither do I - but that's simply what extended versions do. This wasn't aimed at you as a person, I have nothing against you, and I wish you hadn't taken this so harshly. But at the same time, I'm not quite sure why you did. I don't think my expectation of a seamless loop was unreasonable. If you'd wanted to make it work properly I can't imagine it would've taken too long to play around with the track in Audacity to get something good. Even just cutting off the end and beginning and plonking them together.
back in 2011 I'm really not sure that function existed. If it did, I was not aware. I wish I had been able to transition it to where it wasnt a fade out/fade in. I know how extended versions are supposed to sound, again, I was going for relaxation and for the purpose of someone e.g listening to it going asleep, like I wanted but couldnt find on UA-cam in 2011 so I made my own the best I could at the time. Like, I didn't even use Audacity to put this together. I didn't know Audacity. The programme was a programme that I cant remember because it wasnt even worth remembering. it's not unreasonable, I completely understand what you're expecting. I just didn't have the know-how then. Like I said, my attitude to work and any creative content I make is so much different compared to when I put this together. it's not that I take it personally, although I would like to defend myself because I feel I'm not lazy and I would like people to understand why it is how it is.
this song is always beautiful no matter how many times i hear it. its just like the twilight princess version of Zoras Domain
I recently found out that Underwater Palace was a remodel of Sasa Sanctuary. Still, it's one of my favourite locations, just for that soothing music.
This song reminds me of past memories
Dragon Palace's theme sounds beautiful and it's like something you would hear in Zora's Domain in The Legend of Zelda Videogame Series.

This isn't extended, this is just the 2-minute version replayed. This is quite lazy.

Well then, it's all in the past and there's no point in stressing over it :). All part of learning.
