    Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

    Having kids isn’t the main purpose
    I’m 43 and never had kids it took me a long time to be okay with that
    But I’ve learned to connect with others and to find a purpose outside many social norms
    Having a good relationship with god and living your life fully is
    Good video and I enjoy your messages

    Good job on your video! Dont give up you will find a great Catholic husband! I will keep you in my prayers woman. I also recommend asking for the intercession of Saint Andrew the first named apostle, his patronage is in helping single woman find husbands. God bless you Katherine

    Love it!
    Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
    Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
    Where there is injury, pardon;
    Where there is doubt, faith;
    Where there is despair, hope;
    Where there is darkness, light;
    Where there is sadness, joy.
    O Divine Master,
    grant that I may not so much seek
    to be consoled as to console;
    To be understood as to understand;
    To be loved as to love;
    For it is in giving that we receive;
    It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
    And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

    You are not lonely. You have your Guardian Angel.

      You can absolutely still feel lonely. You can still feel depressed and sad and lonely. Knowing you have a guardian angel doesn't change that.

    God bless you dear, I'm so Blessed to come to know you. Yes we need purpose to fulfill God's will. I hope I have purpose to help elderly lady in her everyday life like helping her with cooking, bathing and talking her out for shopping most of all taking her to her husband's grave and spending time with her. Love it. Thank you for your video ❤❤❤❤

    I actually go to two different parishes. One is 10 min away and the other is 25 min away. I normally go to the one closest to me but if my mother comes with me she prefers the one that is further away because she likes the church better. I please her ...anything to get her to go. She doesn't have much faith. She is more of an agnostic than a Catholic although when asked she will say she is Catholic. I guess she is an "on the fence" Catholic. 😆
    I pray daily for her. She is 80 years old and has issues with pain from a trip and fall which aggravated her other issues. She attends Mass when she feels good. And I am a 49 yr old single woman whose purpose is to care for my mother in all aspects. Physical, emotional and spiritual. I was married many years ago to someone who was not truly kind to me and tried to keep me from growing in my faith. I got out of that relationship before we had children. I am glad because it was becoming toxic. No respect on either side. I moved on and he did too. I am currently prepping to return back to school to become a nurse. My goal is to eventually work in hospice care. My faith, family and friends are what keep me going. Children of my own...no. But I have 9 nieces and nephews. The youngest is going on two months old and I am spoiling him already with gifts! 😄 I am so blessed and have no regrets because I know I am where God wants me to be. 🙏

    The one thing that has given me a purpose throughout this whole mess of MS is praying for others. My goal and hopes for the coming months is that I can spend more time outside so that I can spend more time within the doors of the Cathedral praying :D

    I love the idea of prayer for random people. Katherine I'm a non-catholic who finds myself inexplicably drawn to find out more about Catholicism, where would you recommend I start?

    • @CatholicKatherine
      @CatholicKatherine  7 місяців тому +2

      Where would you start with praying for others? I think a good way to start is with an Our Father prayer! Just maybe the person sitting next to you on the bus - say a little prayer for the challenges they are facing today!
