Why put all those players in the thumbnail if they aren't in the video? Poor clickbait

??? Because they're already in the main event? It's not their fault you don't know the format, those players in the thumbnail are qualified, this is PLAYINS

@@j.thomas1420 Fedoseev’s chess at this speed and Yoo utilizing gambits and finding high level tactics in less than a second was beautiful. May be too fast for some, but if you can keep up, there will be beautiful, high-octane chess and bullet strategy this BCC

@@DivinePlant Most are dubious gambit that would in classical be refuted, at that point it's all bluff. Something like Norway chess is much more enjoyable for exemple, especially with the armagedon format. Just compare the number of views, it speak for itself.

@@j.thomas1420 I’m a fan of basically all time controls, I don’t disagree classical chess is the best. But bullet chess is more entertaining (way less downtime), more fun, chaotic, explosive, blunders aren’t nearly as likely to be the end all be all, epic comebacks and wild moments like stalemates are much more likely, and the world’s best players’ minds working brilliantly at this speed is an absolute spectacle. I’m not trying to be a bullet chess representative or anything here, but I will say, as far as views, Hikaru vs. Magnus BCC match alone in 2023 got 400K views, a similar number watched the 4-hour stream of the Finals, and the chess community’s grown a lot since. Let’s see how big this year’s BCC is compared to Norway Chess. I love classical chess, I just don’t think bullet chess is as objectively unenjoyable as you are claiming
