I seen so many videos with people using crates, which is illegal where I live. Thank you for this video!
Thank you ☺️ You are very welcome for the video, glad you find it helpful 😉
Thank you for not promoting cage training! I never caged mine and they’ve been lovely and well behaved.
Thank you for the feedback 😉 glad to read that 🥰
Thank you for this wonderful advice!!! For various reasons, we didn't crate train our 2-year-old pug and we are not crate training our new puppy. I worry we are doing something wrong, as everyone thinks crate training is the only way to successfully raise a puppy.
Yes crate training seems to be a trend nowadays but it really is not a necessity. Good luck with your new puppy what breed are they? 🐶 🐾
This is very good, sound advice. I’m not using a crate when we get our dog. Thanks 🙏
Thank you ☺️ so glad you find the advice helpful 😉
Great advice. Just got my puppy and this will help greatly. ❤
Delighted to read you find it helpful. Did luck training your puppy… what breed are they? How old? What is their name?
Thank you! I'm going to pick my new puppy up in about 5 days and this was a very useful set of tips, now I have a starting point :)
You are very welcome, glad the video helps. I have a few others puppy related videos you may want to check. Wishing you a wonderful time with your new puppy, this is exciting 🐾 What breed are they? Male or female? Any name idea yet? 😃
Thank you that was incredibly informative!
You are very welcome, I am glad it helps 😊
Great video, so clear... Absolutely agree on not punishing a dog... it doesn't teach them anything... Keep them coming.. :o)
Thank you, glad you agree on the non punishing :-)
Great tips to help potty train your puppy.
Thank you 😊
I loved the video! I am bringing home my Australian shepherd pup, next month, when she is 8 weeks old. Not only do I not want to crate train her, I also want her to sleep with me. I am a mother of four, who co-slept with, and breastfed, all of her children--up until they each were a year old. Instinctually, I think that my 8 week old puppy will feel safer sleeping next to me. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
Thank you, I am glad you found the video helpful :-). How sweet, I love shepherds, you must be really looking forward to bringing her home. To be honest there are no fixed rules when it comes to deciding where your dog sleeps, it really is a personal choice and as long as owners and dogs are happy, everything is acceptable. I own 3 rescue dogs: one always sleeps with me, the second ones does 50% of the time, and the 3rd one never does :-). It is actually good to sleep with your puppy the first few days of bringing her home as she will be completely lost and distressed without her mother, siblings and in a new environment she doesn't know. If there is anything else you need advice with, do not hesitate to contact me :-)
@@FinnPaddyDogTraining Thank you so much for your reply! Hahaha! Your pups are evidence that all dogs have their own personalities, and likes and dislikes! I love it!
