Train your dog how to sit using luring (in this case a treat) - a non invasive dog training technique using no force or punishment

Timestamps:
2:20 Get your dog interested and make him follow the treat a few times
2:43 Hold the treat at the top of your dog nose - the dog lifting his head will sit - if the dog jumps on you, it means you are holding the treat too high
Use a marker ("yes", "good boy/girl") as soon as your dog bum hits the ground - timing has to be as perfect as possible and you should also try to keep the same tone every time
Reward with the treat following the marker
Repeat a few times until your dog is familiar
3:21 Add the hand signal (dogs learn with body language)
4:06 Add the verbal command "Sit" so your dog knows it too - essential for emergency situations when your dog is off leash and can't see your body language and you want him to sit straight away
