I'm sure you already know this, but in case you don't, instead of using hair conditioner to soften synthetic hair and make it "brushable", use liquid fabric softener! Works like a DREAM! Also, what brand/type of paintbrushes do you use when repainting the eyes/"unpainting" the extra paint?
That's great, I will try it for the next pony! Thanks! (I think it's ecause fabric softener has tons of silicoine, right? I use the cheapest conditioner, which is usually terrible for human hair but good por ponies). I use "miniature painting" brushes, any pack usually has good thin ones. There might e more expensive rands but I've had my generic ones for a while and they work great. There should also be a link to some in the description.

Anyone who tries the 'unpainting' thing, make sure you're using a brush with natural fiber hairs... don't use a cheap plastic based one. the acetone will melt the bristles together and destroy it.
If I see this Gingerbread Unicorn Pony I was remembered on the series Winx Club. There was a fairy animal called "The rainbow creature" and looks like Gingerbread (without a horn and the cutie mark) This repair was well done again :)
Greek ponies also have this horrible topper.. I figured that if you press with a plier its top part (the narrow not the wide part) it loosens enough and you can slide it down and off the tail without cutting the metal. That's definitely easier than struggling with all those pliers and getting hurt! (I got a really deep cut on my finger the first time I did it!) Also, it's amazing that the hair was tied with thread! It makes everything so much easier! Greek ponies don't have a thread.. It's a huge mess! Sometimes I have to separate the hair one by one in order to detangle the tail...

Hi Eiko, thank you for your words :) Painting the eyes is VERY scare - but like everything, you get better the more you practice (I'm far from good, I've only painted a couple of ponies so far and the results are quite awful).
