Haven't had that happen. I only use the basic one that's sold at dollar tree. I haven't tried any of the other formulas and can't vouche for their effectiveness.
Also try: put mod podge/acrylic base on first- paint it precisely. Let it dry a little, but it still has to be tacky. Take a thicker paintbrush/makeup brush, dip in glitter, brush it onto the sticky design. This works very well especially for fine holo or metallic powder type glitters. I haven't tried with much courser, chunkier glitters, though.
Agreed. Glitter does not need paint mixed into it if glitter is to be the main colour/focus. It just needs a medium like a glue or gloss to hold it together.
The loving care that you obviously take in every small action with these ponies is so sweet and a joy to watch. It makes my heart glad that there is such a tender heart in you making the world better, one little retro brightening at a time.
Majesty! My favorite pony! I still have mine! and yes....I did take it into the shower quite often to bathe him. There is rust coming through the tail...lol I imagine it looks the same as yours on the inside. LAMO You did an amazing job! :-)
Thank you so much for being a positive and peaceful little corner of the internet. I always love watching you revive these ponies, it makes me so happy 🩷
I love how your nails matched the pony! I’ve also been restoring some ponies lately but nothing major lol, they’re mostly g3s. I love watching these videos before bed!
Majesty! Always thought she was one of the prettiest ponies. These videos are crazy relaxing. But for real, can you do me next? I don't need hair plugs, but I'd be all in for a skin resurfacing and color correction. Also wouldn't mind some repairs and refurbishment to my rear, honestly. Anyway, great work as always. I really love watching these.
My childhood majesty was in similar shape, looked like she had a fake tan she was so rusty on the inside! I didn't clean her up just as well as you but I'm happy with her all the same lol
This is the first video of this kind I've ever watched, and it was very satisfying to see that grubby pony clean up ^^ I like the philosophy of keeping the little imperfections :)
I was starting to hope there would be a new video from you & this sensitive restoration of a much-loved pony perfectly suits my life right now. 💙💙💙 We can't all be perfect, but we're still worth saving! I think you did a beautiful job! 🙏🏽
I really thought you were going to put only the head of the pony in the uv chamber first to match the color but even without that the result it's gorgeous as always ❤
I had gotten that pony at an small convention about two or 3 years ago! I'm going too use this video too clean her up. Surprisingly enough her mane and tail are in really good condition. She's just an bit dirty and her eyes and cutie mark are still nice and bright.
Nice episode and the first one I watched with my own Majesty 🥰 Your videos help me to fix some little issues on Majesty and my other two ponies. Thanks for that 🫶🏻 I enjoy your MLP Videos a lot ❤
I just got my first g1, secondhand at a collectables store (bowtie) she was in pretty good condition with just a chip on the eye and sorta dry hair but i was able to give her a srub and condition her hair and oh my gosh! The hair on the g1s are so much easier to work with than the g4s! Id love to see you restore a bowtie by the way!
Also have you tried just straight liquid-y (water-like) hydrogen peroxide in a container and then weighing the ponies down to stay under it while you retrobrite them? I have seen other UA-camrs use this method with great success!
i'm gonna guess the mark on the leg was either a wood stain or maybe motor oil, it's got the color of a walnut stain i've seen my mom use in her woodworking in the past but more people have motor oil and cars around then a woodwork space
Don't know if I missed your reasoning in the voice over, but I'm curious why you didn't retro-bright treat that just the head until it matched the body?
Even if it’s just a toy, some people get uncomfortable at the sight of removing the head off of something, especially something small and cute like a pony. By warning the audience those people who get uncomfortable know to look away

Glitter mixed with mod podge until it's like a thick paste works well to adhere glitter. Also simultaneously seals it so it doesn't come off later.
I'd be careful with mod podge. In my recent experience, there's a 50/50 chance the thing I use it on ends up sticky later
Haven't had that happen. I only use the basic one that's sold at dollar tree. I haven't tried any of the other formulas and can't vouche for their effectiveness.

Yes I think mod podge is the way to go with glitter symbols ^^

to be loved is to be changed.
i appreciate you the leaving in certain imperfections on these ponies
You don’t often see the G1 unicorns!!!
Awesome job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Majesty was always my favourite pony, so it's beautiful to see her brought back to glory 😊
i'd love to see a full glitter pony! (maybe with tinsel hair or something as well....)
congrats on the Skillshare sponsor! youre really going places! :D
Beautiful! I love all the new things you've been doing, but it's nice to see a simple, classic MLP resto too
Love the matching nails

i love love live that u left the battle scar on the back leg. u gave her some tlc and cleaning without erasing her history ^-^

This was so relaxing to watch! Majesty is a beautiful pony and I’m glad she’s back to her former beauty 🩵
preserving the past of a pony is so heartwarming. i also love how you always try to give ponies a better life instead of getting thrown away
My childhood majesty was in similar shape, looked like she had a fake tan she was so rusty on the inside! I didn't clean her up just as well as you but I'm happy with her all the same lol
That Majesty's cute & unique, which I like alot.
I've got a few unique one's from a fallen brony too.
The pop of the hair going into the new plugs is so satisfying!
She's beautiful again, job well done.
I won't say she looks brand new, but she definitely only looks a couple years old instead of THIRTY

5:24 Can you even imagine the amount of rusty this one hoof have inside itself?! You can tell where all the water has gone throughout the years lol
Awesome Video and congrats for the collaboration with skillshare😊❤
This channel brings me so much joy ❤❤❤❤
My Majesty's head was also extremely glued down. I nearly broke my fingers off trying to get her head off haha. I even put her in boiling water
MINE TOO
@@emilymonahan5232 So crazy it's specifically her haha

She looks so pretty after her 'spa'. Always nice to see a new video.
As always, I really appreciate your videos. The music choice is always so soothing, and your experiments are always informative!

Beautiful!❤
Oooh full glitter pony would be awesome
Thank you for another fun restoration!
She turned out so pretty!

You might want to remove the tail and replace the washer on it anyway, even if it hasn't rusted yet.
Nice episode and the first one I watched with my own Majesty 🥰
Your videos help me to fix some little issues on Majesty and my other two ponies. Thanks for that 🫶🏻
I enjoy your MLP Videos a lot ❤
The restoration is almost like night and day! This video also relaxed me majorly. :D
I used glittery nail polish for retouching my Majesty’s symbols. It was just blue glitter in a clear base, very easy.
This healed my inner child
Very pretty 😊
And then go down a milliard lavender towns more than rabbit holes.
the way she fell over at the end, lol
that pose isnt the most balanced is it? i stuck a glass marble in the back leg of mine to act as a counterweight
love the piano bgm
Fun fact! Majesty was the basis for G4's Princess Celestia!
🎉 looks great!
This ponys colors remind me of miss coco pommel from g4 MLP she is gorgeous

You need to deliberate them to plastic surgery and a spa day. This one is a spa day
the forehead hair on a pony is called the forelock!

!!! i was just wondering if u were gonna make another video soon!! yay
“My name is Yisela” not Gisela
I think my sister had this one.
I love your video's!!!!😆😍🤩
8:40 Good soup

im so happy for you getting sponsored! i love these videos so much. your kindness shines through everything you do here.
I wanna see a glitter pony :D
What about a full placed glitter pony? Like almost a mosaic
love it :D
🙋♀️ Question: would paint not fix that mark at all or would it be noticeable no matter what?
OMG YAY IM EARLY i love ur videos so much
Am new to collect mlp? Should i clean the inside of the mlp Gen 1s or just the outside?
Don't know if I missed your reasoning in the voice over, but I'm curious why you didn't retro-bright treat that just the head until it matched the body?
Really curious about your novels! May I ask what they're about?
Feel like you should just paint white over her brown mark on her hoove if thats possible?
Do minty
Is that your official mascot? :o In the fanart?
Congrats on the sponsorship! Love watching your channel grow ❤
Why do you always warn people when you take out the head?
Even if it’s just a toy, some people get uncomfortable at the sight of removing the head off of something, especially something small and cute like a pony. By warning the audience those people who get uncomfortable know to look away
@@Oiiaiioiiai I see, thank you! :D
