I got the SE 1800kv in a mainly crawler setup RR10 Bomber (no trailing arms). Its AMAZING for the price, it simply blew my mind how slow it can spin things with SO MUCH TORQUE vs my older sensored motor and a copperhead 10. I honestly wouldn't need the slower slow speed of the pro. Its SO NICE to have the 2in one for clean easy setup. These 2 in one motor/esc combos are the future. I really hope that hobbywing comes out with say a 2300 or 2500kv SE.

I upgraded to the Fusion Pro with my Traxxas 6 Hauler, absolute control over speed and plenty of power for all 6 wheels in all modes, and the elimination of the ESC with slight mod for power to the lights.

I have 2 fusion pros and 1 se and i agree with everything shown here. With that being said itd be cool to see a scale of 1-10 for each test and a chart at the end showing where each motor stands on each test all together. Overall great video though!

I run a Fusion Pro 2300KV on my YIKONG YK4101 with tracks.
On 2S it's good, especially with the 2 speed gear box, on 3S it's a beast.
It can crawl like a worm, or zip around like no ones business.
The best thing is, the tracks system goes up anything that tyres normally wouldn't and the Fusion Pro seems great for the system without getting too hot.

Woot Axe 550 3300kv. I honestly was worried it wouldn't be what I expected....it is stellar!!
I have it in a trx4 and found it a bit too fast for crawling, but with fr/rr underdrives am happy with the crawl. 11t is smallest pinion with that blasted 5mm shaft
It is actually a SPEED controller.....most "esc's" are POWER controllers only.
FOC is an amazing advancement for motor control.
not nearly as efficient as field only to turn rotor style, but FOC actually controls the rotor, traditional just throwing best guess pwm and watching feedback for seeing if the particularly pwm got the rotor turning.
FOC like magnetic hand gripping rotor compared to normal types of esc pwm
but WHY 5mm shaft why why why.....

What it looks like to me is Spektrum took the 2300kv motor in the HW Pro and mated it with the SE's ESC...and is charging $150 for what is essentially a 2300kv HW Fusion SE. After watching this I'm 100% convinced the extra cost of the Fusion Pro is in the ESC. No idea where the extra cost is in the Spektrum. $80 motor case? LOL

I can't see paying for any of these anymore.... For $70 you can get a RHINO 80Amp ESC with sinewave control and laptop tunability included (no extra cost for a program card, etc) and the control of it is AAA++++MAZING!!!! And you can pick the outrunner of choice -- it doesnt even have to be an expensive one --- $20 outrunner will do --- even for a big rig 1/6th scale --- i got Turnigy AERODRIVE 14 pole - 4250's they are beasts 350kv up to 1500watts and 12s capable ---- Outrunners and only paid $30 per motor -- plus the RHINO 80Amps ---- $100 out the door ---- and i can run it up to 8s lipo and it has a built in 10amp BEC with switching from 5v up to 8.4volts output. The features are amazing. I put two of them in a 23lb 1/6th scale clodbuster and they are awesome i have tested on 8s --- no issues with 8 inch tires and pushing those giant Aerodrive outrunners. I can go 0.1 miles per hour i mean like BARELY EVEN THINKING OF MOVING and it will not stall ---- its amazing what the sinewave can do. The FUSION SE I almost was gonna do it but i didn't like what if esc or motor fails then the whole unit is a waste and also didn't liek 3s MAX lipo. RHINO seemed better and i'm glad i went that route. I do think i would put the FUSION SE in my TRX4 for sure though. Great vid!!!!

    SE - $80
    Pro - $150
    Firma - $160
Spektrum priced themselves out of the game. The Pro retails for $10 less and outshines the Spekteum in every category. The SE offers performance in keeping with the Spektrum for half the price. all I know is that brushed motor still have better throttle response and are waterproof. with the gearing trucks run there is no reason to run brushless

hall effect sensors are waterproof typically its the MFG not being able to water proof the connector if the hall effect and ESC is built into the can and waterproofed as one, then its easy.@@createsomefun

The spectrum 2in1 is a hobbywing 2in1. It's just rebranded

Yes we know, what was interesting considering the SE and Firma have the same tuning but the Firma seemed so much stronger and punchy.

Correct. On the other hand. Nothing new on the SE. That one was already sold for several years by Konnect RC, a French RC company. Rebranded offcourse, sold mainly in Europe. Made by Hobbywing. So when Hobbywing came out with the SE they just had to change the case decal from Konnect RC to Hobbywing. Everyone thinking it was a new product when it was already available under a different brand name for years.
That said. They are all great. I have several of the Pro, SE and original Fusion.

I find it rather sad how spectrum charges so much for the same tunability as a se. Considering hw makes the spectrum. Greed at its finest.

I do not think for a rebranded hobbywing the spektrum and $30.00 for the program card is it worth it at all. I highly dislike spektrum products they’re all just rebranded crap and it works worse than the original for more money stop buying it

I only recently learned how to attach a BEC to my stock TRX4(Thank-you Traxxas & your instructions). WTH do you plug in a BEC or other accessory on a Fusion SE? No matter how attractive they make these brushless systems I find no end to subsequent unanswered questions.

They all have 8 Amp bec. No need for externally connecting a bec.
