Recently swapped in the fusion pro 2300kv in my redcat gen 8 and it totally changed its crawling capabilities considerably. The slow speed control is insane . After a bunch of brass upgrades it was a really great crawler but now it’s spectacular!!!
Awsome comparison i have 6 fusion pro and needing 2 more and wanted to know more about the fusion sc i think after watching your video ill stay with the fusion pro ,thank you alot 😀
I just installed a Fusion Pro and replaced my 1080HW with Holmes Hobby Crawl Master 550 12T in my TRX4 and what a huge upgrade. A big increase in speed. The control is amazing.
... Say, how did you like the Crawlmaster Sport 550 with the H.W. 1080...!!??? ... Like is the 12T motor the right amount of "turns", for your TRX4 gearing, meaning was the 12T motor a good fit... in your TRX4...!!??? 🤔 I'm curious... - I have the same paired set-up !! ✌️
I just put the Fusion pro in a Element SE & I also have the older 18 kv version. I had them both out & they are close going up but the Newer Pro is faster not that that means anything as a crawler unless you need a lot of wheel speed. But the New 23kv just changed the SE into a whole different crawler. Impressive
This is a nice video thank you very much. But this is like comparing a V6 against a V8. The pro is awesome, but it’s twice the price. Do I get twice the performance?
I don't think I would consider this a fair comparison test, as the SE being tested is rated 1800kv while the Pro being tested is rated 2300Kv. I would be much more interested in a direct A-B comparison of two similarly rated units- which is what I came here for. Would anyone happen to know what the differences are in the features?
It's a feature on its ESC option 1, enabled by default. Basically if for example you hold your transmitter's throttle at 5% the ESC will do its best to maintain that speed, constant RPM, no matter if the car is going uphill, downhill or over an obstacle. Sensored system allows ESC to receive feedback from the motor and sense how much torque is needed to match the throttle. Thanks to Pro's high torque it performs RPM/throttle matching better than SE.
Can FOC be turned off??? I don't like it. It keeps breaking drivetrain parts because it is much harder to tell when the wheels are bound up unless you are looking directly at the wheel that is binding. I love how smooth the fusion is but I do not love the FOC
Merci
If you don't want to spend much to for SE. 1200KV if you want torque, 1800KV if you want speed. Pro has both excellent torque and speed but it's more expensive. All of them has a great drag brake.
I've been looking for video comparisons between these two and you just showed it to us! I am probably going for the pro. Nice work and review!
Thanks!

Thank you for a great video and review of these 2 setups. I'm sold on the fusion pro now

I have both. And can’t really tell any difference in slow speed control.

My SE 1800kv does not have any of these issues. I’m not competing so it doesn’t matter.
i have Fusion Pro 2300kv such a good motor!

Very Naice Review! THK's for the Share Info!
The fusion pro 2300kv is my favorite 😍
It's an amazing motor

😢
Great comparison, thank you!
What kind of tires are these. Looking very nice. Also the car body. I go for the SE, because it is much cheaper to have but still good in performance.
I went for the SE for vs4-10 and it's low speed matches the pro. Assuming he never adjusted anything or even set up the esc
My TRX-4 runs 30MPH in first gear and 13MPH in second gear, this is awesome for running scale trail lines.
Who makes the front bumper and what model. I've been searching for. High and tight to go with the cliffhanger body
Cliffhanger body looks cool I got the axe 550 instead
I have the Pro 2300kv. How does rpm matching work?
It's a feature on its ESC option 1, enabled by default. Basically if for example you hold your transmitter's throttle at 5% the ESC will do its best to maintain that speed, constant RPM, no matter if the car is going uphill, downhill or over an obstacle. @@JRTGarage that makes sense. thanks!
It's called FOC
What wheel combo you running??
Nice review! Does the motor not need to connect to Esc? Thanks.
The ESC is built-in already with the motor
@@JRTGarage thanks for your info.

Yes with the program card. Disable setting 1 (RPM/Throttle match)
@@WeldCoCrawling awesome thank you for the info 😎🤙🏽
laki kasi ng difference ng price ng fusion pro sa se. malaki na siguro difference from performance ng brushed ko pag nag se ako diba.

Both have the exact same low speed control.
It’s literally the exact same motor, just with different programmable options and KV rating. That’s it.
So if I go with this set up will I need a new transmitter
No.
Bedroom voice! Keep em coming!
My SE doesn't have a consistent speed at low torque if foc is enabled.
Please any solution?
Note: I've done the calibration too
Tx mate
Same for me. I did calibration too but its RPM matching is just not as good as the Pro.
@JRT agree. I think that the product I received is factory defect
my SE is fine. I did not encounter any of the points talked about in the video
Car drive power 💪🤗
you get what you pay for🤣
Lol of course the pro is better lol😂
Your missing the point I think
