  • This is the Diy aquarium stand that is super affordable and can be made in under 20 minutes. This aquarium stand mostly consists of cinderblocks and wood I'm currently using it for my 40 gallon breeder but it can be used for 10 gallons 20 gallons or even larger aquariums like a 75 gallon or 90 gallon aquarium. I didn't really explain how you can use it for larger aquariums are you have to do is add more cinderblocks and more support beams to hold up the wood

Back when I was in my teens and 20's we used to make those stands for stereos and books and other stuff. They work great and are really sturdy. 👍😎

@@ChallengetheWild I just bought a 40breeder from P*tco bc their $ per gallon is going on now by me and I'm in line buying cinder blocks at Home D*pot.
I just posted this on Aquatium Co-op channel too about how this was my weekend project for my 55g and now for the 40breeder 😍

Some old curtains around the edges would hide the blocks and anything you want to store underneath.

What if I have carpet on my floor, should I just put a wood panel under the blocks?

I used cinder blocks but it's sloped to the left and to the back a little can't get to back left side cuz its by a wall any suggestions

  • @creecree4983

could probably use some type of carpet instead of foam, like a rubber carpet to avoid adsorbing water

Ok what are the chances of knocking the stand over? Or does the heavy tank keep it very firm? -- I have a 40 gallon tank and I need a cheap stand for now.

It is very concinderate of you to make this under-stand-able video that provides a concrete solution for those facing a mental block on how to build a solid tank stand.

maybe it’s a possibility to put some of the boards in between the blocks to make shelves also 🧐

I would not recommend creating your own stand as it takes too much work levelling. And bought stands are tested, your own diy is not... In my eyes, that could easily tilt if not on a concrete floor
