  • So I need to expand the fish room and it was between a steel rack or a concrete block stand. Went with the blocks and wood mainly for the cost effective reasons and I would be able to make it to suit my needs. Watched a ton of videos and read a lot of forum posts before deciding to go for it. I think it turned out great and it allows me to expand more if needed!

Of course family always needs the most attention when I’m the busiest. It took me a few days from start to finish to complete with paint included. That’s also with getting all the materials , oh and I’m indecisive 😬

The cinder blocks are 16" long. My tank is 18" deep. Can i just have my wood stick out an inch in the front and back? Is that safe?

How many gallons? To be honest, my tanks over hang my wood slightly. You can definitely pull out the wood an inch on either side, especially if it’s on a bottom or mid row so there support on top of the wood

The tall rack system with the 4 20 gallon longs (guessing). Where did you buy that rack from?

@@JKFishKeeping thank you! Did you have any issues with it! It looks great! I wanted to stack my 4 20/29 tanks just like your metal rack.. but was debating on just doing the cinder block thing? But I’m limited space.. your thoughts 💭
      Thank you again man!!!

@jr.childers2324 definitely going up helps with space. No issues and it’s been going strong. 20 gallons is the most I’ve had on it though. I liked this each because the long bars don’t show the slots. Believe it’s on sale and I think they had a couple sizes

Im getting ready to move my 125 gallon tank. What suction cup rings did you use (time stamp 3:33 to 3:41) or do you recommend? Thanks

Make sure to check Amazon reviews and always make sure to see how much weight each one is rated for, not all are equal. One of mine did not work as well as the other so I just returned them but they did the job. I do not know the names/brands since there are just too many. Good luck!
