:(( wish i knew this earlier, mine just gave up a couple weeks ago cause of this, cracking the right side of my monitor all the way up (with a single S-shaped line) the crack was initially just halfway, but my touchscreen already stopped working the crack kept creeping up whenever i opened and closed my laptop to rub salt into the wound, this happened just around the time my warranty ran out. fml, never touching a lenovo screen again (literally and figuratively) ig take notice if the hinges are becoming suspiciously loose to mitigate the risk of this
the root cause problem are the hinges they are back in the screen(bad design) and by the time the hinges get hard so when you try to open the laptop they break the screen that happen to me
