- In this video work progresses on the 914 project that will utilize a 3.0-liter Subaru EZ30R flat-6 engine. This is a brief overview of the radiator installation, a big step to convert the previously air cooled 914 to a water cooled setup.
How is your 914 Subbi project going? Is the car running? Did your radiator set up work out satisfactorily?
Looking great, Jeremy! Such a clean looking project... right down to your fingernails;) Elegant solution for the radiator housing.
Thank you! I gotta keep those guitar nails clean and hopefully unbroken.
Very nice work. Nice to see someone not hacking stuff up.
Cool build!
JWK Engineering is working on GT40 open hood for the 914. Jeff has more parts in the works. Subscribed and loving it!

How is the 914? Is it done? Nice work
Brother, Looks Amazing but going to need more intake holes and more exit holes! Going to get hot in stopped traffic!
Wouldn’t shoving air under the car not help? I can maybe see that putting hot air into the brakes wouldn’t help but under seems worse.
your doing this on cellphone and vertically ?!
LOL, yes, my brother is the one with all the cool camera gear and expertise, since it’s his channel. For the moment, the more mundane parts of the build will be filmed with a cell phone. But hey, at least I try to remember to clean the lense with my dirty work shirt!
Should work in theory. Why this design? Not criticizing just wondering.
The trunk floor on my car had been butchered at some point, presumably for an AC install. Since I had to repair that area, it lead me down this path, somewhat inspired by the way the aircooled 914-6s vent air out the floor for an external oil cooler. This, versus venting out through the wheel arches like Renegade Hybrids, or through the hood which changes the look of the front end. I may end up opening up entrance and exit openings more, but I wanted to start minimally. Also, apparently the NA H-6 Subaru motor has lower cooling demands than a WRX or V-8 motor.
What radiator is this project using? Looks like really nice work!
Thanks! I’m using a Toyota Celica aftermarket radiator.
It seems like either this channel or this project are dead 😢
