Dr. Akil, your video has made a difference for me, for years my daughter has tried to convince me on many occasions to change to a vegan lifestyle diet and I have not changed, your video is the game changer right now for me, please keep doing what you do now, I believe you’re a god sent. I have a brother right now who was diagnosed with heart disease and I am sending this video to him, I also would like to know how to get intouch with you, please respond, thanks
Thank you A.J. & Dr. Taher. Really enjoyed your interview. I've fallen off the wagon for the last 6/7 months and I've begun to feel awful again so struggling to climb back on. I'll get there. Stay safe and see you next time. Regards from France
I'm so glad to see you Akil, sharing your journey into a new lifestyle that makes reversal of Chronic diseases. I will share this video to some of my friends, who may be convinced in applying this way of life.
Fabulous interview Chef AJ and Dr. Taher! Lots of lives saved from this info! Purchased the kindle book! I can read on my iphone! Blessings to you both!
I thoroughly enjoyed Dr Taher! His story is so relatable and I appreciate his type a personality and self realization journey. I would love to see him again on your program. Thanks.
This guy 🤯 has blown my mind! I love his passion and certainty. Go off statins for 6 months you are not gonna die. Check your blood and if ldl hdl get worse then you know… endothelial lining is strong on wfpb! I love that he gave out his number. I’m gonna text him thank you for everything. Chef AJ, you are such a good interviewer. I 🍎 U!
I think we've seen that single patient's angiogram just about enough. It gets run up the flag pole every time someone is talking about "reversal". Yet it is a highly unusual example. Misleading to so many with 70% to 90% mature blockages that can't really expect any degree of visible reversal. Highly unusual for anyone over age 60 to have significant reversal of the actual physical blockage... Say going from 85% down to a 75% blockage. No study shows that happening to fibrous or calcified mature plaques. Which make up the narrowings of most people over age 60 and 70. That doesn't mean there can't be forms of reversal such as fewer episodes of angina etc. I just think its misleading to keep showing these large reductions in plaque which are rare and nearly absent in older patients. I follow the plant based diet to halt further progression of such narrowings, but don't make believe I'm going to get that visable reduction we see in that overused angiogram involving that one patient. BTW, that man, a physician in his 40's, was not part of any study. We fellow CAD patients can live and prosper with reality. We don't need cherry-picked angiograms of unique situations.

Great informative show!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent talk! A direct copy of Dr Esselstyn, he has been preaching the same thing for many years, probably should’ve given him some credit…
Indeed
You are right David. I owe a lot to Dr Esselstyn. Thank you for reminding me.

Perhaps, but inspirational for younger population to make changes to minimise the risk of atherosclerosis
Why can’t he get to his point. Love him, but omg. Just say it.
I’m sorry you feel this way Jabo.
