Interestingly, Floyd plays a song called "Steam, Cinders and Smoke". This was put out in record form and was recorded by Rufe Davis(Floyd) and Smiley Burnett(Charlie Pratt, who passed a few years back)
That guitar that Floyd got as a birthday present is a Gibson today that guitar probably worth about 25 $2600 back in 1965 they probably paid about $300 for the guitar. I wonder whether I can put an ad in the paper to get somebody to run the train I bet you somebody would love to run the train
Yes! the true final episode! I must say this is a real feel good series finale if ever there was one. The last "aired" episode BETTY JO'S BUSINESS was held over from the first half of season 7. I actually give the writers credit for truly ending the series with closure, while most series at that time just ended with regular shows.

Isn't that man reading the note by the tracks the guy who did the voice of Winnie the Pooh in the 1960's-1970's TV cartoons of the bear? His voice sure sounds like him.

Watching PCJ on channel 367 WHT on Direct TV,Homer Bedloe is trying to shut down the cannonball,but they only show b&w episodes from the first couple of seasons and the dog isn't on the show yet,wish they would show later episodes.

Where's Wendall? Why isn't he running the Cannonball? Floyd hasn't operated the train in 2 years. Janet and Floyd never met before and she is saying she loves him.
