In the flash backs, couldn't they have included Kate? After all she was the star of the show before she died!
This must;ve been the only episode where we saw the Cannonball pull more than just one coach at 0:06
Uncle Joe acted like he owned that train, he wasn't even an employed railroader.Most of this show was about the Cannonball's fate.Considering most of the people there had no car, without the train I don't know how they'd get anywhere...even the distance between the Shady Rest and Drucker's store was quite a ways.Oliver Douglass had a car, Mr.Kimball had a jeep, as did Orin the park ranger, and Sam Drucker had a truck.Those are the only vehicles there that I know of.Most locals used the train as a free taxi.
Homer Bedlow should have been in this episode. Why is Orval not running it? Uncle Joe never ran the train. If anyone it should have been Betty Joe!
