    I'll give everyone a tip for warming up. Go to a sink and run warm water and stick your hands and arm in the water for a few minutes. Make sure it's good and warm. It is amazing at getting your muscles and grip just right. It's great for guitars, and piano players too. I do studio work. And, I'm not kidding when i say is the best way to get your hands ready to play. Try it.

      +Easton Guinn Thanks for the compliment. As for the pinkies, how does it sound? Some guys who adhere to the "all 4 fingers on the stick at all times" rule end up sounding somewhat stiff for life. There's a time to pinkie, and a time not to pinkie if you ask me.

      +Bill Bachman I would definitely agree. I wasn't trying to sound critical at all. you are a great percussionist and one of the best quad players I've ever seen. it all depends on different styles and how you get your velocity
