The African Church has been called the Cradle of the Faith. It has been said that the Faith will be saved, preserved by the Church in Africa. Look at the Blood of the Martyrs being spilled there. And yet the Faith thrives. Look at the courage it takes to be Catholic, let alone a priest! Who of us can say, truthfully (rather than boastfully, or even hopefully), that we would have the same courageous Faith? Cardinal Sarah is a living Saint.
The irony is that traditionalists that do not like the NO liturgy will say exactly what you say, but clearly haven't seen the issues with the liturgical celebrations in Africa.

There is just a beauty in pure reverence in the silence of the devotional worship that the Latin Mass offers; solemnity in the presence of God, humbling us, and raising our souls up to the angels and saints in worship. The English Mass (Novus Ordo) once started like that, before it was changed to be more protestant-like and focused a bit more on the people, rather than wholly on God and facing Him in our unworthiness, but hope and love for Him.

Most african priests are most excellent. Im glad theres 2 in my parish in Portugal. They are a wonderful blessing. The respect, the reverence and love with which they celebrate the Mass. We have the triple of people attending Mass now even on week days
Brother, I cry each time I am in the Latin Mass. The Liturgy, the reverant Priest helping bring us to the witness of the sacrafice of our Lord at Calvary is awe inspiring. I cried during my first and only time at TLM - I didn't feel part of it in the way that I do in the NO Mass. It important for each of us to recognise that both forms of the Liturgy are pleasing to God. We have to stop making this a source of division as this is not pleasing to God. We should respect each other's feelings on this topic and work together in charity - if we are not able to to this then something is deeply wrong.

He was recommended to me by my Spiritual Director, who is a traditional, conservative priest in a religious order faithful to the Magisterium. Jesus founded one Church, gave Peter the Keys, and guaranteed His Church will not teach error in faith or morals. He did not tell us, if you don’t like the Pope or if you disagree with him, go off and start your own church. I’m a Jewish convert to the Catholic Faith. I was converted by a dream. I know without any doubt that Jesus is real, He’s alive, and He founded this One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. I’ve encountered challenges along the way, including an entire RCIA team of four lay teachers and two priests, who tried to send me to Hope Chapel (an evangelical Protestant church) because I was so on-fire for Jesus. I tell you the same thing I told them: “It took an Act of God to get me into this Church, and it will take an Act of God to get me out. I’m not leaving!” They were stuck with me then, and the Church is stuck with me now. I’ve been Catholic since August 22, 1991, and I’m not leaving. I love Jesus, I love His Church, I love the Pope, and I love knowing that Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to the Pope and the Magisterium to protect His Church from error. I go to Daily Mass and then spend an hour with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I follow Padre Pio’s advice: “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.”

You must be going to a NO mass. Go to a TLM, very reverent before, during and after mass. Many come early to pray the rosary, many stay after to adore Jesus and pray. Quiet and reverent.

I cry at mass, especially the Latin mass when receiving our Lord in the Holy Eucharist - I just let the tears flow and in my heart I repeat "I love you Jesus and thank you ". I use to ask in confession why I cry so much at mass and I am assured that it is healing. God Bless you 🙏

Amen. I am in tears, yet hopeful for our Roman Catholic Church. My soon to be 21 year old daughter is a Junior at Ave Maria University in Florida. She is overflowing with the faith, yet it breaks my heart that she is putting her heart and soul into her theology major to spread the Gospels and bring more people to Catholic faith, only for her to witness division at the very top of the Church which teaches her obedience. How does a young faithful mind process all this? I pray that I may do my best to guide her, and sharing this vlog with her, as your thoughts and words expressed allow for hope. As you said, we are STILL Catholics, that does not change, and to respect the office. I would add that what comes to my mind is discern teachings from Pope Francis and the current Curia. Keep the Gospels, the early teachings, and the Catechism as the guide and test. If anything out of Rome is not in line with the aforementioned, or is knowingly about man and in error with Christ teachings, then that which comes out of Rome should be ignored without fear of disobedience. My thought has always been, is it a clear and concise teaching of Christ? Jesus would never say or do anything that could lead one to more confusion or ambiguity. Jesus was always crystal clear. These days, there is so much ambiguity coming from. Rome, that is is difficult to discern what kind of teaching we are receiving. Also, even if Pope Francis starts telling us to jump off a cliff for the devil, I would not leave the Catholic church, but I would also not obey the Pope. Not obeying the Pope does NOT make one a schismatic, especially if the Pope is telling us to do something against God. Whereas the Protestants chose to leave the Catholic church, that made them schismatic. They should have remained as there is onlybone true church with one path to eternal Heaven, and that is the Roman Catholic Church, good or bad Pope, doesn't make a difference. So stay a Catholic, practice the Sacraments, especially confession, and receive the actual Body of Christ (true presence in the Eucharist) at the Mass, weekly. I will conclude my thoughts by adding a question. When was the last time you heard Pope Francis tell the followers that he and the Roman Curia are here to Shepherd us towards eternal life in Heaven through the Sacramaents? I honestly cannot say without digging something up. But I can tell you that Pope Francis reminds us about climate change nearly every time he speaks. He is meant to speak of the mystical and not of the man-made material, especially politics. So latch on to a Bishop and a good Priest, keep your head down, receive the Sacraments, and pray. That is what I am going to do, and I am not leaving nor am I schismatic. I am a faithful Roman Catholic that recognizes and respects the Roman Curia, but knows that I am not required to blindly follow ambiguous or ungodly instructions.

Yeah, and legitimate charitable criticisms of the pontificate are fine. That’s a bit different from a lot of the attacks that pope Francis gets online daily. Also though, cardinals such as the ones you mentioned can also charitably be criticized.

I think it's sad that The Pope is being judgmental about his brothers in The College of Cardinals, especially Cardinal Sarah. Brother, I cry each time I am in the Latin Mass. The Liturgy, the reverant Priest helping bring us to the witness of the sacrafice of our Lord at Calvary is awe inspiring. I cry at NO mass
I cried during my first and only time at TLM - I didn't feel part of it in the way that I do in the NO Mass. It important for each of us to recognise that both forms of the Liturgy are pleasing to God. We have to stop making this a source of division as this is not pleasing to God. We should respect each other's feelings on this topic and work together in charity - if we are not able to to this then something is deeply wrong.
I cry at the blessing of the Eucharist at NO mass. The sacrifice of the mass is never not beautiful and moving.
Agree 💯, Robert. I had the measure of His Holiness from day one. I pray for him daily but I also pray that Our Lord will have mercy on the Church and remove him from office and give us a holy Pope.

He was recommended to me by my Spiritual Director, who is a traditional, conservative priest in a religious order faithful to the Magisterium. Jesus founded one Church, gave Peter the Keys, and guaranteed His Church will not teach error in faith or morals. He did not tell us, if you don’t like the Pope or if you disagree with him, go off and start your own church.
I’m a Jewish convert to the Catholic Faith. I was converted by a dream. I know without any doubt that Jesus is real, He’s alive, and He founded this One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. I’ve encountered challenges along the way, including an entire RCIA team of four lay teachers and two priests, who tried to send me to Hope Chapel (an evangelical Protestant church) because I was so on-fire for Jesus. I tell you the same thing I told them: “It took an Act of God to get me into this Church, and it will take an Act of God to get me out. I’m not leaving!” They were stuck with me then, and the Church is stuck with me now. I’ve been Catholic since August 22, 1991, and I’m not leaving. I love Jesus, I love His Church, I love the Pope, and I love knowing that Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to the Pope and the Magisterium to protect His Church from error. I go to Daily Mass and then spend an hour with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. I follow Padre Pio’s advice: “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.”

You must be going to a NO mass. Go to a TLM, very reverent before, during and after mass. Many come early to pray the rosary, many stay after to adore Jesus and pray. Quiet and reverent.

I cry at mass, especially the Latin mass when receiving our Lord in the Holy Eucharist - I just let the tears flow and in my heart I repeat "I love you Jesus and thank you ". I use to ask in confession why I cry so much at mass and I am assured that it is healing. God Bless you 🙏

Amen. I am in tears, yet hopeful for our Roman Catholic Church. My soon to be 21 year old daughter is a Junior at Ave Maria University in Florida. She is overflowing with the faith, yet it breaks my heart that she is putting her heart and soul into her theology major to spread the Gospels and bring more people to Catholic faith, only for her to witness division at the very top of the Church which teaches her obedience. How does a young faithful mind process all this? I pray that I may do my best to guide her, and sharing this vlog with her, as your thoughts and words expressed allow for hope. As you said, we are STILL Catholics, that does not change, and to respect the office. I would add that what comes to my mind is discern teachings from Pope Francis and the current Curia. Keep the Gospels, the early teachings, and the Catechism as the guide and test. If anything out of Rome is not in line with the aforementioned, or is knowingly about man and in error with Christ teachings, then that which comes out of Rome should be ignored without fear of disobedience.

@roundtable3501 I don't think that's mean. An honest question is an honest question, but I do sieve this is very different than the protestant schisms. My thought has always been, is it a clear and concise teaching of Christ? Jesus would never say or do anything that could lead one to more confusion or ambiguity. Jesus was always crystal clear. These days, there is so much ambiguity coming from. Rome, that is is difficult to discern what kind of teaching we are receiving.
Also, even if Pope Francis starts telling us to jump off a cliff for the devil, I would not leave the Catholic church, but I would also not obey the Pope. Not obeying the Pope does NOT make one a schismatic, especially if the Pope is telling us to do something against God. Whereas the Protestants chose to leave the Catholic church, that made them schismatic. They should have remained as there is onlybone true church with one path to eternal Heaven, and that is the Roman Catholic Church, good or bad Pope, doesn't make a difference.
So stay a Catholic, practice the Sacraments, especially confession, and receive the actual Body of Christ (true presence in the Eucharist) at the Mass, weekly. I will conclude my thoughts by adding a question. When was the last time you heard Pope Francis tell the followers that he and the Roman Curia are here to Shepherd us towards eternal life in Heaven through the Sacramaents? I honestly cannot say without digging something up. But I can tell you that Pope Francis reminds us about climate change nearly every time he speaks. He is meant to speak of the mystical and not of the man-made material, especially politics. So latch on to a Bishop and a good Priest, keep your head down, receive the Sacraments, and pray. That is what I am going to do, and I am not leaving nor am I schismatic. I am a faithful Roman Catholic that recognizes and respects the Roman Curia, but knows that I am not required to blindly follow ambiguous or ungodly instructions.

Yeah, and legitimate charitable criticisms of the pontificate are fine. That’s a bit different from a lot of the attacks that pope Francis gets online daily. Also though, cardinals such as the ones you mentioned can also charitably be criticized.
