OMG I had SO many of you who had stolen baby names - let me know if you'd like a few more of these videos so I can get back to you all! Sorry if I sound croaky, I'm recovering from an illness and my throat is still so sore!!! SJ xxxxx

I just came down here to comment this, if anyone asks then honestly say that she was told your baby names and stole them - that's on her and she knew what she was doing!
Mariposa Belle could be an alternative for Marigold Bee (although I would still go with Marigold Bee to be honest!). Also, Winifred with the nickname Freddie might be an option instead of Charlotte.

Just casually eating lunch with my husband/kids and watching your video and hear my name! 🥰 (Stolen name: Henry) SJ, we LOVED your suggestions and I’m loving the help from everyone in the comments! I love all your videos. Baby name lover here! But this one was the absolute best. Such thought and care to went into helping pick names. You are pure gold SJ.
I have a baby name Monday category idea! Royal names! Mainly girls names but there is still a few boys names! Names like Jubilee, Silver, Elizabeth, Victoria, Margaret, Camilla and more! Especially Jubilee is very pretty!
When I was pregnant with my son Shepard we were considering Ian but my cousin named their son that. I was kinda pissed, but I’m glad we have a Shepard Banks because it fits him so well.

Quietly fangirling over here that my email made it through your inbox (eeeek). Such similar wavength; Tilda is the nn fiance (now husband, as of the weekend) likes for Matilda and it's hard to top. How cute is Marnie on its own too, or Marina nn Marnie 😍😍😍😍 Thank you so much, I am stoked that you whataspped these w your sister xxxxx thank you thank you thank you
Ah yayyyyy!!! This has made my day that you heard them!! Marnie is lush and yes me and naomi got so excited for the dilemma! Please let us know when baby arrives xxxx
Grace, I was in a similar situation in 2019 I was planning on having another baby. We had a boy named picked out but what if it's a girl? We already used our all time favorite girl name! And then Charlotte (I didn't want a nickname, just Charlotte) struck me. How beautiful! Then in 2020 I got pregnant. Charlotte was like #3 on the popularity list where I live. I just couldn't use it 😭. So we had to figure something out. We ended up using the English version of my husband's grandma's name. It fits our beautiful girl perfectly. Anyway.... What do you think about the name Etienne with Eddie as a nickname? Etienne is actually a male name, it's French for Stephen, but it just sounds so beautiful! Of course SJ's suggestions are gold.
We have our little girl named picked and my whole family knows it. I’ve already told them they are free to use it IF they are willing for our kids to have the same name because I’m not budging. Lol
My Dad has always called me Marigold since I was a little girl!! So my fave choice is definitely Aurah Marigold! Charlotte was always one of my faves - especially with the nickname Charlie - until I married my husband and our surname is Chaplin and I just could not do Charlie Chaplin!
During my second pregnancy we didn't know what we were having but had Justin picked for a boy, and Sarah picked for a girl. My husband also had 2 cousins who were pregnant at the same time but they were due before me first one used our girl name and second one used our boy name just 2 months before our baby was born. It was so frustrating that we had to start over picking names. We ended up settling on the name Tonya for our daughter.
I am a massive baby name fanatic and always find names that I love in these videos, and the biggest congratulations to all the mums out there expecting a baby. What I am really struggling with, though, is this idea of someone "stealing" a baby name. Now, I love the name Willow and always have, but I've never felt so entitled that I can be the only person in the world allowed to use it. A friend named her baby Willow, and I was absolutely thrilled that she recognised how amazing the name Willow was just like I have. If you love a name, just use it. Even if it has already been used by a friend or family, who cares? What difference does it make if there are 2 Willows in 1 family or if your best friend has a child with the same name as yours?
Personally I hate having a common name (Olivia) in school I was never the only Olivia in my class and then you have to find ways to differentiate who being called. If a friend used the name I liked I wouldn’t want to use it because if our kids are friends I wouldn’t want to have to choose a way to single which one I’m talking to or talking about. And especially is a family member uses the name that makes it even more difficult if you spend time with them. But I agree if it’s someone you won’t see often then it doesn’t matter as much. Just a different perspective ❤️
UGH !! BABY NAMES CAN BE STOLEN! If I decided to use an extinct name from a deceased relative (for example Carmelo) and my friend uses the name after finding out I'm going to use it but doesn't mention it to me then that's being spiteful ASF! Stealing someone else's idea for a baby name without asking them how they'd feel about it is trashy! No matter what excuse you try to come up with, you should always ALWAYS ASK and DISCUSS it with that family!! Not just have that "Who cares" type of attitude. If you still don't get it then your mind just doesn't go that far. Plain and simple!
@@gardensage3352 sounds like you might be someone who has a name that’s super rare. I get it if you want to be creative and not use a name your relatives have since you are connected to them for life. But friends come & go so if you have your heart set on said name then talk to the friend about it first. Unless you chose a name that is completely rare then your child might have classmates with the same name or even make friends with the same name.
For Marigold Bee - You could keep similar to Marigold and go Maribel and still keep Mari as a nickname - especially since I've heard Maribel be pronounced like Mary-belle too. Also bee themed names instead of Bee could be Bianca (which could be nicknamed Bee) and even something like Honey! I think Bianca Maribel sounds really cute. For Henry - My first thought was Harry, but that is really common especially if you're in the UK XD. Another thought would be the slightly longer Hendrix or Hendrick, although those don't end in an 'ee' sound (although Hendrick could shorten to Ricky!) For Lucas and Axel - Those names are so cute and are also two of my faves XD. It seems like you like the 'x' and hard 'c' sounds so I'll share a couple I like with those sounds: Felix, Maxim/Maxwell, Casper, Caspian, and Quinton. For Charlotte - I love girl names with gender neutral nicknames too and the ones SJ mentioned are definitely now on my list! But one that SJ hasn't mentioned is that any long Rose name (Rosetta, Rosella (my fave), Rosalie etc) can be shortened to Ross instead! I don't know why but having a little girl named Ross would be adorable - and it can be cute-ified by calling her Rossie or Ro-Ro!
We kept our baby name (Felix) a secret but my coworker managed to use it first, only two months before our baby was due. Such a strange coincidence as the name is quite uncommon where we live. We still used it but it certainly made it feel less special. 🙁
Same happened with me and Finn!! A few weeks before me a colleague had a Finn - luckily everyone loved it but it felt a bit strange to have the same name xx
@@SJ_Strum Oh no! People must really like their F names. 😊 So crazy how often this seems to happen with coworkers, friends, etc. I guess I can take comfort in the fact that I’m not alone in this experience. 😆
Love these alternative names. The other day my fiancés best friend asked us what we’d name a baby if we had one and my SO told him our list. Even though we’re not having a baby any time soon it made me a bit worried as I know they have very similar taste. A minor correction: the axis isn’t a curved line around the world, it is the imaginary straight line through the centre of the earth which earth rotates around.
I have a story about an accidental stolen name. When I was a teen, I started thinking about baby names and for a girl, I fell in love with the name Aliya. It was on my list for YEARS and I never told anyone about it. When I was in my early 20s, my older sister had a baby girl. Her name? Alya. I was devastated - if it had been a more common name then I still could have used it (I have a big brother and two cousins that are all called John) - but I didn't blame my sister since she didn't know. She still doesn't know, and Alya is now 7 years old. I've since come up with names I love even more, and am no longer devastated 🥰
For the Charlotte "Charlie" one, I'd recommend Althea! I know a little girl with this name whose family calls her "Alfie." I think its such a beautiful, rare girls name with an adorable, boyish nickname!
One of my former friends was called Althea-we always called her Ally at her request but I thought Althea was utterly beautiful! Interestingly, her ex-wife was called Charlotte!
Don’t mind me, I’m just here for the tea. 🫖 ☕️ (Edit): I think it’s fantastic that you’re doing this video. My mom had her name stolen by her step sister and I’ve heard people’s stories too. That’s why my husband and I aren’t sharing until it’s on the baby’s birth certificate. 👩🏼💻 We also have fake names to tell just in case we gotta troll. 😂
Never tell anyone the names you plan on using. If anyone ever asks tell them a different name that you never actually plan on using. If a celebrity named their child something I wanted I'd still probably use it but if it was someone I knew it would probably ruin the name for me. I told my sil a name I liked and she immediately made fun of it so again telling people can influence your decision. When the time comes I'm going to say we undecided until born.
@@azzz7279 It would depend if they were in my life or not. If it was a fb friend that I don't ever see and they named their baby what I wanted I'd probably delete them and still name my baby that lol
My sister was on the opposite end of “stealing” the name, our cousin said she was using the name as a tribute to a miscarriage she had that was conceived in New York, a famous river. She wasn’t pregnant and had give no indication to using it ever, it was becoming popular so my sister used it! She had quite a traumatic birth, and was given very horrible text messages on the day she gave birth! We had a huge family fall out and havent spoken since, 8 years! It’s a horrible feeling having someone else use it, but to be horrible about it was not okay. She ended up using the name 3 years later but adding an extra letter. 🤦🏻♀️
I have no babies, yet, but I have a names list. I haven't told anyone my favourites, and i doubt i will. I've done it so that when i do have children, no one steals it.
For the first dilemma (like I saw a recent comment says) could go May / Mae instead of Marigold to honour Mary or MayLee or MayLynn or Reena (ending of Mary, I met one girl called Reena at my secondary school) I hope these help best wishes to them all
Yes, I haven’t started the video but my best friend took our number 1 baby boy name for her 3rd boy. The name is Everett. It’s been on my list for over 8 years 😢
Beatrix or Beatrice could also be potential alternatives for Bee, although i do love Beckett! Mimi Beckett or Mimi Beatrix are both super cute combinations. I also like Mariposa Bee or Mariposa Bo and Aura Marigold is very pretty - maybe Aurora Marigold. 💕 I also love the name Calix! 💙 there are so many possibilities for girl's names which have a gender-neutral nickname! Matilda - nn Matty. Stephanie - nn Stevie. Henrietta - nn Henry or Rhett. Jasmine - nn Jamie. Persephone - nn Percy. Augusta - nn Gus. Cordelia - nn Cory. Aurora, Lorelai or Caroline - nn Rory. Juliet - nn Jules or Jett. Seraphina - nn Finn. Theodora - nn Teddy or Theo. Leonora or Leona - nn Leo or Lennie. Natalia - nn Nate. Olivia or Ottilie - nn Ollie. Scarlett - nn Scout. Rosalind or Lindsey - nn Indy. Joanna - nn Joey or Johnny. Pearl - nn Perry. Lavinia - nn Vinnie or Levi. Rosalba - nn Albie. Francesca or Frances - nn Frankie. Imogen - nn Iggy. Alexandra - nn Alex or Lex or Zan. Savannah - nn Van. Willow or Willa - nn Will. Georgia - nn George or Geo. Katherine - nn Kit or Ren. Monroe or Monet - Monty. Autumn - nn Tommy. Robin/Robyn - nn Robbie. Eloise - nn Louie. Kendall - nn Kenny or Ned. Summer - nn Sunny. Elodie or Eden - Eddie. Martha - nn Marty. Davina - nn Davey. Philippa - nn Phil or Pip. Sylvia/Sylvia - nn Sully. Genevieve - nn Gene or Nev. Alphia or Alpha - nn Alfie. Calliope or Calla - nn Cal. Ruby - nn Roo/Rue. Evangeline or Evanthe - nn Evan. Winifred or Freida - nn Freddie. Sybil - nn Billie. Josephine - nn Joey or Finn. 💕
I don’t get it… if I had a baby name picked out forever and either of my best friends used it, I would still use it! I don’t see the problem with that honestly. When they hung out as kids they’d have matching names it’d be cute and hopefully they’d be besties too. Live your videos sm 🤍
For the final baby name dilemma, they could choose Matilda with the nickname Matty. You mentioned they liked more gender neutral nicknames and I think that is such a great compromise. Also loved Robyn with nn Bobbie ❤️ much love
You are amazing at this SJ I love all your suggestions... Our name steal can't really be called a steal because the person in question (my partners aunt) did not know of our favourite name... And I'm not yet preggers either so it wasn't at all the aunts fault, but, she has named her latest baby Jasmine and me and my partner want to call our first baby girl Yazmin. Now my partner says we can't use that name coz it's too close to his new baby cousins name... What do you think? I think we can, and should, still use it. Or do you have any other suggestions? I'd love to hear them
I had two girls names. The second was not Uber popular. When I had my first girl I told a friend my two girls names and how I dreamt of having those names. She immediately said I love that name! She had a boy then was pregnant again before me…… and I just knew it would be chosen by her. We had struggled to have antihero child and I was so sad I wouldn’t have another child. Luckily she had a boy then when I finally got pregnant and had a girl she made out as if my daughter’s name had been her top choice all along.
The mother in law seems jealous of another woman being with her son. Totally creepy lady. Still use those names you love, the dogs won't live very long and don't let that crazy lady steal your joy.
I would just go ahead and call the babies Lucas and Axel and then every time someone asks why the MIL's dogs have the same names I would tell everyone she named them after the children.
one of the names I love is Azalea and IF I were to have any children, that name was a contender but I found out my cousin had a baby girl and named her Azalea Joy... I was lowkey sad but thankfully it's only my third fav baby girl name hahhah
I'm not too fond of the name Mimi. It might be cute in some place. But around here, in the southern United States, people call their grandmothers Mimi.
Oh.. Mil has totally used those names because she doesn't want those names for grandchildren.. I'd use them anyway!! Tell the grand kids that grandma loved her grandchildren so much she named her dogs after them
I was worried that would happen to us too. We had the name Caroline picked out for our little girl and it was getting reasonably high odds as a contender for the new royal baby, Charlotte
@@emilymcarthur9602 You got lucky! That somehow makes me feel a little better about losing mine. I've never thought of others getting to keep theirs 😄😍
Charlotte is also on my list, I love the gender neutral nicknames: - Caroline -> Rory - Finley/Finlay -> Effie - Elliott -> Ellie, Etty - Madelyn/Madeline -> Matty - Alaska -> Kai - Aria -> Arie, Rory - Willow -> Will - Autumn -> Tommie
My sister was going to use the name Eve as a middle name and she changed her mind and used Lily instead so I stole Eve for my daughters middle name but I asked permission before using it and she was happy it got used because she isn’t having any more children haha
I accidentally stole a name kinda. I named my daughter Adelaide only to find out my SIL wanted to name a daughter Adeline or Adelyn (not sure which one tbh). I feel really bad because i didn't know but it created a larger rift than there always was.
@@danahashcroft9482 that’s so stupid....they would be cousins anyway so having similar names is cute. And you didn’t even know. That’s not your fault at all. They’re being petty
Instead of Charlotte you could use Nicola with the nickname Nikki or Nick. I feel like it has a similar vibe to Charlotte and I think the nicknames for it are super cute❤️
Rosemary Bee instead of Marigold I think it has a similar vibe Or Marion or Margot as well . I think Wesley goes well with Savannah & Gabriel, or maybe Harvey, Holden, Timothy, Percy, Radley, Tommy, Harrison . I would go with Lucas or Axel anyways… or maybe similar like Lucca, Lucian, Ansel, Alec, Atlas or Abel . Instead of Charlotte, Charlize or if it’s too similar… Rosemary or Aurora and Rory as the nickname Josephine with the nickname Joss Matilda (or Matisse) but with the nickname Mattie Tommasina it’s a little bit more unique but I’ve seen a couple girls named Tommie recently
For Henry they, instead could go - Harley ♡ or Ryan? (Idk 🤷♀️ how common they are tho) or could just go with Lee? My fav of your suggestions SJ is Henley For the last dilemma (my fav of the names, after Lucas, i like the name Lucas too) instead of Charlotte they could use Sharon or Saffron nn her Ronnie? (From the endings) or something with nn Lee / Lea? (Both Lee & Lea pronounced the same) btw My fav of your suggestions is Eleanor then Robyn For the one with Lucas they could just go Luke? & my fav of your suggestions for these 2 is Caleb. (I've met just one Caleb, at my school) I hope these help
@@SJ_Strum thanks, pleased u like my suggestions and replied :) hopefully the people these dilemmas are for see them and like at least one of these too
The Marigold Bee person could still use Bee, but spell it Bea instead. I also really like Henley as an alternative to Henry. For alternatives to Lucas & Axel, I really like Caleb & Darius together. LOVE Theodosia w/ the NN Theo or Theia! I won't be using it until/ if I have a second girl though. But that won't be for awhile yet.
My sister was pregnant with her 7th boy when I was pregnant with my first. We were not finding the gender. She was due before me and I found out she was using Lucas which was the name I had always wanted for a boy. I actually wanted Luke so I still could have used it. I was soooo mad! The only thing that made it better was that I went on to have 2 girls and by the time my 2 boys came I was over the name. What a rotten MIL!
For 'Stolen! Charlotte' I know the couple wanted a name that has a gender neutral nickname but as soon as SJ said Marnie I thought Marina, traditionally Marnie would have been the nickname for Marina. However if gender neutral nn is the be all and end all then what about Jasmine nn James/Jamie. Also just think about the Charlotte's Web of it all, what about Fernanda nn Fern (after the farmer's daughter in the story)
That happened to my mother in law except they already named her so they couldn’t change!! Very strange that people do that, I mean it is a compliment but weird! However they were fully aware they named their child this, it wasn’t a coincidence
Instead of Marigold Bee, I might consider , Marisol Bee, for Henry , I would do Martin with the short form, Marty or maybe , Lewis with the short form Louie. For Lucas and Axel , I would do, Lars or Casper. For Charlotte, I would go with Colette with the short form Letty or Caroline.
Oh my gosh who knew so many people would have stolen baby names. So I have a daughter called Honey-May, she is almost 9 now and I have put off having another baby because if it was a boy I honestly wouldn’t know what to name it. So my partners name is James, this is a family name that’s passed down (his dad, grandad, great grandad, and great great grandad all called James) and my dads name is Lee but he writes music under the name Logan. Now I wanted Logan-James it meant a lot to me. However my bother called his two sons Logan-Jay and Avi-James. When my brother called my nephew Logan-Jay I moved onto the name Conan-James and accepted that my brother wanted to treasure my dads name. Only for him to call his son Avi-James after my partner, then within the same few months my dad got a dog and called it Conan (my nephews are 7 and 3). I know I left a long while between children but I honestly didn’t think it would be an issue to just name my child. Now I am STUCK!
Hi. Please help. I am looking for a name for a baby girl due November. I have a boy named sofian and wanted something similar with reference to my mums name lyn. Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
My brother named his daughter Zaniya when he knew I wanted to name my daughter Janiya. I really do not like the idea of having a baby that is too matchy with his, and it feels like he wanted his daughter to feel like my baby was named after her. It frustates me even though I love my niece so much.

Omg, Marina nn Marnie is swoon worthy! I hadn't thought of that before
We have our little girl named picked and my whole family knows it. I’ve already told them they are free to use it IF they are willing for our kids to have the same name because I’m not budging. Lol
Love this!
Matty/Mattie also works for Matilda and then it is a similar vibe to Charlie.
I love Calix! 🥰
Hi SJ, awesome video! I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE ❤ a Japanese baby name list, there are so many lovely ones!
Yes! I always go to Japanese names when I’m looking for a lush unusual name! Great idea xx
I second this please.
Yes please
Oh no!!! What are the chances?
@@madeleinep7103 yeah that's what I thought. Lol

I think you’d love these

The MIL stealing the names for her dogs is just wrong. I’d at least still use Axel & Lucas as middle names. Good luck dealing with her.
I once met a " Maridel"- so pretty. My daughter born in Italy -" Marilena"
Another thought would be the slightly longer Hendrix or Hendrick, although those don't end in an 'ee' sound (although Hendrick could shorten to Ricky!)
For Lucas and Axel - Those names are so cute and are also two of my faves XD.
I just love Aurah. I suggested It to my oh and it was a no but with this spelling it seems less try-hard. Love love love. Good shout!
Woohoooo I’m a female Harry!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 love it
I knew a girls named Ryan or Kevin! These may help the last dilemma also! Great list, SJ! So many great recommendations!
SJ you look beautiful. I’ve been binging your podcast with Naomi lately. Love you gals! ✨✨💛💛
Love these! I think Wesley would be a cute option for Henry. Also Robin is one of my top girl names and Bobby makes me love it even more!!
Don’t mind me, I’m just here for the tea. 🫖 ☕️
(Edit): I think it’s fantastic that you’re doing this video. My mom had her name stolen by her step sister and I’ve heard people’s stories too. That’s why my husband and I aren’t sharing until it’s on the baby’s birth certificate. 👩🏼💻 We also have fake names to tell just in case we gotta troll. 😂
😂😂😂 brilliant!!! Love the fake name idea!!! Xxx
I laughed harder than I should have at this. 😂😂😂
For Charlotte
Georgina /Georgy
Edwina / Eddie
Never tell anyone the names you plan on using. If anyone ever asks tell them a different name that you never actually plan on using. If a celebrity named their child something I wanted I'd still probably use it but if it was someone I knew it would probably ruin the name for me. I told my sil a name I liked and she immediately made fun of it so again telling people can influence your decision. When the time comes I'm going to say we undecided until born.
someone you knew, as in even if you weren’t friends with them?
@@azzz7279 It would depend if they were in my life or not. If it was a fb friend that I don't ever see and they named their baby what I wanted I'd probably delete them and still name my baby that lol
Imagine naming your dogs the name your son and daughter-in-law wanted to use! That’s such a nasty move!
the lady l that her mother-in-law took the names and named the dogs, I am sending you love and hugs,
My sister was on the opposite end of “stealing” the name, our cousin said she was using the name as a tribute to a miscarriage she had that was conceived in New York, a famous river.
Was the name Hudson?
@@clairewillow6475 yeah!
I LOVE Stanley as an alternative to Henry, and I like Hector w/ the option of a nn being Tory (that way they still get the ie/y ending)
I have no babies, yet, but I have a names list. I haven't told anyone my favourites, and i doubt i will. I've done it so that when i do have children, no one steals it.
For number two, could use Henry as a middle name? First name could be Theodore with Teddy as a nickname.
I love teddy! Think she’ll really like this idea x
Marigold Bee is one of the sweetest names ever. I would stick with it.
Also for Marigold Bee what about Devorah or Isadora for the Deborah connection
For the first dilemma (like I saw a recent comment says) could go May / Mae instead of Marigold to honour Mary or MayLee or MayLynn or Reena (ending of Mary, I met one girl called Reena at my secondary school) I hope these help best wishes to them all
Reena Bee is cute.
I just got a puppy and I named her Pippa and her middle name is Blossom! Blossom of course inspired my you!❤️🌸
To honor a Deborah you could go back to the Hebrew version, Devorah, pronounced "de VOR ah"
Very pretty
Yes, I haven’t started the video but my best friend took our number 1 baby boy name for her 3rd boy. The name is Everett. It’s been on my list for over 8 years 😢
For the parents who had their Charlotte name stolen, how about naming her Francesca and calling her Frankie? 😊
For the one with Charlotte I would go Francesca and be Frankie
love this!
Yes! Great suggestion!
I also love the name Calix! 💙

Also loved Robyn with nn Bobbie ❤️ much love
for marigold bee- margo(t), marlow, marisol, magnolia. to be honest i would keep bee as the middle name, or change the spelling to bea :)
For Marigold Bee, what about Maribelle Bea, or Marisol Bee?
MIL often take things too far. Ugh thats just super frustrating! Beautiful alternatives SJ, I've added some of these.
Maybe Mariposa instead of Marigold and Posey for nickname ❤️
I'm not too fond of the name Mimi. It might be cute in some place. But around here, in the southern United States, people call their grandmothers Mimi.
Oh that’s good to know!!! I call my sister naomi Mimi because I couldn’t say her name when I was little 😂
Oh.. Mil has totally used those names because she doesn't want those names for grandchildren.. I'd use them anyway!! Tell the grand kids that grandma loved her grandchildren so much she named her dogs after them
Lisa please keep Lucas and Axel!!! What the hell was that woman thinking?
Caleb in Hebrew means “dog” 😂
Can you do my favourite name a-z for boys and girl
Oh yes I’ve done a few in the past but can update one! Links to the past ones is in the description xxx
For the second dilemma I think the name Howard would be great. They could even use the nn Howie to get the ending they like.
The royal family stole my baby name first and middle - Charlotte Elizabeth!!! I couldn't believe it at the time and still can't 😆😭😅
I was worried that would happen to us too. We had the name Caroline picked out for our little girl and it was getting reasonably high odds as a contender for the new royal baby, Charlotte
@@emilymcarthur9602 You got lucky! That somehow makes me feel a little better about losing mine. I've never thought of others getting to keep theirs 😄😍
for the first one what about Marin Rory. or Marisol Darby
Marigold Bee is GORGEOUS. I would use it anyways.
Wow, new name crush: Amari.
Just FYI, Lourdes is pronounced Loo-rd :)
1) Beatrix Margot Beatrix can be short bee and Margot can be short for Mary
Love this idea!!
Charlotte is also on my list, I love the gender neutral nicknames:
- Caroline -> Rory
- Finley/Finlay -> Effie
- Elliott -> Ellie, Etty
- Madelyn/Madeline -> Matty
- Alaska -> Kai
- Aria -> Arie, Rory
- Willow -> Will
- Autumn -> Tommie
I love these! Also, Louise - > nickname Louie 🙂
Josephine or Josephina nickname Jo (like little women to go with the literary appeal of charlotte). Or could be Jojo.
Those are different names though unless you pronounce “Adelaide” like “ad-a-Lin”
@@RainbowRantz i whole heartedly agree by my sister and brother inlaw do not feel the same.
@@danahashcroft9482 that’s so stupid....they would be cousins anyway so having similar names is cute. And you didn’t even know. That’s not your fault at all. They’re being petty

@@clarajo6932 ah, well that is exciting, too!
Instead of Charlotte you could use Nicola with the nickname Nikki or Nick. I feel like it has a similar vibe to Charlotte and I think the nicknames for it are super cute❤️
Oh yes! I never think of the name Nicola but it's really pretty! x
Or Colette with the nickname Cole!
Or Nicole instead as it has the E ending 🙂
Loving Colette lately, also Carla/ Carlotta is similar
Love this!
Rosemary Bee instead of Marigold
I think it has a similar vibe
Or Marion or Margot as well
.
I think Wesley goes well with Savannah & Gabriel, or maybe Harvey, Holden, Timothy, Percy, Radley, Tommy, Harrison
.
I would go with Lucas or Axel anyways… or maybe similar like Lucca, Lucian, Ansel, Alec, Atlas or Abel
.
Instead of Charlotte, Charlize or if it’s too similar…
Rosemary or Aurora and Rory as the nickname
Josephine with the nickname Joss
Matilda (or Matisse) but with the nickname Mattie
Tommasina it’s a little bit more unique but I’ve seen a couple girls named Tommie recently
Axel & Lucas
Atlas, Marcus, Luke, Lucien, Lake, Elvis…
Maybe some dead rockstar’s name. Haha.
For Henry they, instead could go - Harley ♡ or Ryan? (Idk 🤷♀️ how common they are tho) or could just go with Lee? My fav of your suggestions SJ is Henley
For the last dilemma (my fav of the names, after Lucas, i like the name Lucas too) instead of Charlotte they could use Sharon or Saffron nn her Ronnie? (From the endings) or something with nn Lee / Lea? (Both Lee & Lea pronounced the same) btw My fav of your suggestions is Eleanor then Robyn
For the one with Lucas they could just go Luke? & my fav of your suggestions for these 2 is Caleb. (I've met just one Caleb, at my school) I hope these help
Love these! My favourite is saffron and Ronnie! Amazing 😍😍
@@SJ_Strum thanks, pleased u like my suggestions and replied :) hopefully the people these dilemmas are for see them and like at least one of these too
HA my name is Sharon and my nickname is Ronnie. I never suggest my name cause no one (young) has it. It's nice to see it suggested lol
@@LavenderLightt haha, you do? I use to live next to a Sharon, but yes I don't know any others
Instead of Lucas and Axel, I like Liam and Atlas! Same vibes, different names :)
Also just think about the Charlotte's Web of it all, what about Fernanda nn Fern (after the farmer's daughter in the story)
when she said Lucas and axel I immediately thought Atlas is so cute short and unique
That happened to my mother in law except they already named her so they couldn’t change!! Very strange that people do that, I mean it is a compliment but weird! However they were fully aware they named their child this, it wasn’t a coincidence
For Lucas and Axel- Silas, Maddox or Maverick
For Henry- Hendrix, Elliott
For Charlotte- Colette- Coco.
Definitely Brigette - Jett.
What about a variant of James or a similar name? Ames, Hamish, Jasper, Jem, Jude...
For Lee you could do Leland, Leo, Leon or Lane
For a girl, what about Meadow? It's the meaning of Lee and maybe Jane could honor James. Meadow-Jane.
What are the odds! Here are some suggestions: Conlin, Leland, or maybe switching James to Jameson? Maybe Cody or Colby James, or Loren-James
Jamie-Lee for a girl.
