Masterpiece. Everybody is unique, be who you want to be, do what you want to do. Let People live their life and don't judge. No Marcel (the singer) is not in the clip and NO they're not an cristian band. Far from that.
Great review. Any chance you could do the unplugged version of Jeremy by pearl jam today? One of my good friends committed suicide yesterday and this was his favorite song. We went to 7 pearl jam concerts together and this was the one song he would always hope they played everytime we saw them. Loved your review of the other unplugged songs. This one in my opinion is second only to black. Stay safe and thanks for such a great channel.
I just wanted to thank you again for being so kind to respond and to always respond to your fans. I can't wait to see your face when Eddie hits the last note of the song. Me and my friend loved your review of the video version. He will be looking down and smiling when he sees your unplugged review. God bless you and thanks again. Fan for life my friend!
@@Detrucci thank you again. I'm so excited to see it. My friend and I loved the review you did of the video. Fry the blood on the kids shirts was Jeremy's. The director complained about the way they edited the video. The uncut video shows him putting the gun in his mouth first. Can't wait till you post the live version. Mu friend will be looking down smiling for sure. Thank you again!!!
Thank you for reinforcing the song's message! Would you please react to Intwine with Happy ua-cam.com/video/m3EHlfF-Cbk/v-deo.html. I think you might like it. PS I love your enthusiasm.
I thoroughly enjoy this song, though I personally prefer DI-RECT as it was in the early 2000's. They've changed their lead singer in 2009, from Tim Akkerman to Marcel Veenendaal. Their style changed too, from that point onward, from a more rock/(pop)punk style, to, well, this. And as good as this song is, I just prefer their older, rawer style. To really drive home the difference, try listening to (old, Tim Akkerman fronted) DI-RECT's "Rollercoaster". That is pretty much the furthest away you can get from this song within DI-RECT's oeuvre.😅 EDIT: For a more representative idea of what the old DI-RECT was like (since "Rollercoaster" is, as I said, pretty much on the extreme end of their combined works), you might try "She", "Don't Kill Me Tonight", "Inside my head" or "Hungry For Love". Or "Adrenaline" for what may well be the strongest early 2000's vibes you'll ever get from a song. 😂
You're right, the curly haired man, Marcel is the singer. He sings with so much emotion! The message is so true! I love this song.

Hey man, a little late but love your content. You really need to check out "all in vane" from Marcel. You won't regret it.

Great song for the misfits and everybody's that don't want to be the 'norm'. Without them, it life would be boring
