- Ever wondered what the entire Terraria 1.4 world is worth? Today I set out to answer that question by MANUALLY mining and selling EVERY SINGLE THING in a Terraria world. Loot from Shadow Orbs, all Chests, Blocks, Walls, Furniture, EVERYTHING. Every single thing that's worth something looted manually and sold for money. How much will an entire Terraria 1.4 world be worth? Stay tuned to find out!

If non-valued blocks sold for even 1 copper, you would have hundreds of platinum
turn stone and wood into arrows, which sell for 1 copper each, and the minimum you can craft is 25, so 25 copper per 1 stone and 1 wood
You can craft furniture with a lot of blocks, so yeah he lost a lot of money
I mean, yeah there are over a million blocks even in a medium world
1 platinum is 1000000 copper
20,160,000 blocks in a large world, and 1,000,000 copper in 1 platinum. They would have an extra 20 platinum.
I think the price would go up significantly if he was in late hard mode, because of hard mode ores, hard mode enemy drops, and crystals in the hollow
Hard mode ores are explosion proof

Wonder how much more money would be made if they crafted blocks with no value into things that do have value (i.e. sand into bottles) and also got all of the wires throughout the world, can't say I blame them for skipping that because mining it all is already hell
Yeah... This should have been done by counting the blocks and checking a crafting recipe database, not by holding down the mouse for ten hours.

This is what i call pure dedication
I tried to do something like this to a Large world once... Minecart track in the sky, plus Proximity Mine Launcher and block-destroying rockets, then race back and forth with the mouse button down while you go on vacation or something. Managed to get most of the Underground layer, then I think I stopped because I realized it wasn't reliably dealing with background walls. My goal was to clear out that world so I could turn it into one massive stack of Minecart-powered plant, mob, block, and boss autofarms.
Ooh I remember doing this too. The end result was really satisfying, only took 2 weeks cause my game kept crashing. The world looks very nice afterwards!!

I may try to sell an entire world, but I’d use liquid clearing rockets to get rid of the lava so I get every single last thing

Oddly enough i think the most valuable part of the entire map seems to be the Sand biome.
Doesn't make it any less painful though 🤣

8:39 Those are words I took to heart one time, rather than purifying the corruption I bought a platinums worth of dynamite and carved around it, then nuked a large portion of it. bombing a radius around world evils and hallow is still my go-to method to this day.
@mururu I still keep the biomes, just on isolated little islands in the middle of a crater.

Maybe there would be a mechanic where naturally spawning chests do that (Excluding locked chests) , but player set chests are still indestructible

20:20 Zuzu, you could have beaten WoF before going to the underworld, most ores that you can't blow up in pre-hardmode can be blown up in hardmode. I think that could make the process a little more faster :D
But a hardmode world would sell for way more, especially if he waited a while after killing platera

Hardmode ore do not spawn if you don't break altars
You could've sold the world for a lot more by making bars and capitalizing on water and lava turning into obsidian and making hellstone bars. It would've sold for waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy more. Also, do a hardmode world, so you can make even more money.
This is seems to be very painful but very entertaining :D

Should have named the world "The Man Who Sold The World."
It’s a lot more effort to go through for dungeons and temples, but in the calamity mod there’s an upgraded drill containment unit that annihilates all blocks

LuiAFK would have been a super useful mod to help with this, it adds stuff like infinite ammunition and a magnet that can suck in anything from the entire map, otherwise this is a neat video and I admire the effort here.

imagine if he did it in a world that’s already in hard mode with hardmode ores, the hardmode ores cant be mined by the celebration mk2 so it would get really annoying having to mine them with a pickaxe

I farm pumpkin moons, I usually get 80,000-85,000 points and then sell all the items and get roughly 35-45 platinum coins, and that’s pretty good because it only takes 9 minutes
OMG! Years of playing and it didn't occur to me that Celebration II can also use nukes! Makes me cry. The time I spent digging arenas with just a rocket launcher... Now I'm feeling so dumb. Especially since CelebII was my fav weapon pre-Journey.
That final result is very similar to what i got when i farmed the pumpkin moon with a farm similar to mappy’s 250+ plat one (42 plat), tho i was using zenith and terraprisma, however didnt sell anything, you get like 130+ platinum if you sell everything to a npc with max happiness

Now, you have to sell the world after crafting everything to it's highest value. Sand to glass items, wood to furniture, etc.
Maybe there is a mod that allows you to change the explosions to 100X as powerful. You wouldn't have wasted your life, Klaus. Gordon. Whatever random names I have in my vault.

I did a similar thing in vanilla terraria ages ago in a small world with just a DCU and a solar hamaxe. Except I was storing everything in chests in a different world because I wanted to have near-unlimited blocks for building and I wanted to use the empty world for farms and such. I managed to destroy everything, including walls, up to somwhere around half of the cavern layer and that took around 85 hours. I was also doing this on my old phone, so there's that.
