the fact that this man is able to not only have the BALLS to go into the dungeon before killing skeleton, but get a Muramasa before getting demolished by the DG is the most terrifying thing about him.
incredibly minor nitpick but you should never use the fandom wiki because it is often outdated (or sometimes just flat out incorrect) and the amount of ads are absurd. use the official wiki instead so that it gets boosted in google's algorithm
As someone who made a lot of Terraria videos back in the day, I'm very impressed with the editing in this video. Clean and a clear focus on what matters on screen. Well done Mr. DPadGamer :)
I love how you beat duke fishron after moonlord that is so real of you. I envy the people who somehow beat it straight into hardmode. I dont understand.
I know that everyone is saying to do Calamity, but i suggest you start with Thorium first. It's a good introduction to modded Terraria due to how vanilla it feels. Also, it's a great mod.
I'm only about 16 minutes in, but my two hardmode tips for melee is to always prioritize ice golems because their frost cores can be turned into great melee armor and their frost feathers make an easy wing set I forgot to mention that my second tip is to make a goblin battle standard in prehardmode and use it in hardmode to obtain shadow knives, they're great for basically all the early hardmode bosses
@tesla_panda1412 snowstorms happen simultaneously with rain. All you gotta do is sleep until it rains and then check your snow biome Now, if you want rare, try waiting around for a sandstorm. they require the wind to be above 36 mph (fairly sure that's the required speed) and then you gotta actually be lucky enough to roll the chance for it to actually start, AND its length is determined on how long the wind decides to stay above 36 mph (I know there is some Leniency so you can drop a bit below 36, but too far will end it I believe)
It was hell to get all the Terraria achievements, one more thing I can't deny, it was a great Adventure, I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot about Terraria 😄😄😄
I've been wanting to 100% percent terraria for awhile so I started the grind a couple of weeks ago and got 163 fishing quests done along with a ton of other achievements. I fired up terraria today and saw every single one of my acheivments were wiped for some reason. EVERY SINGLE ONE GONE. So I have to do every single fishing quest, kill every rare enemy, and do every obscure achievement all over again.
the drunk world is very useful, you can get both world evil bosses done and if you want the acheivement for killing every slime you need both crimson and corrupt slimes.
I love watching videos on games I know nothing about because I get to watch people going "Wow this part was so trash, why did I play/move/fight like that??" and feel nothing. Thanks, Terraria guy!
first thing i do before going hard mode is go roughly every 500 blocks east and west and carve a 4 wide channel straight to hell. this prevents additional spread and keeps the biomes from spreading rapidly. also gives great access to later areas.
Or do the insane strategy i do, dont bother with any of that ever, and just use the hallowed biome to protect housing, pretty zure my cleanest world is like 30% corrupt

Lots of fun boss attacks as well some are particularly cool Imo. It also jokes around occasionally which can be real fun. Its one of my favorite mods on Tmodloader - Thorium is a pretty cool content mod stays a lot closer to vanilla Terraria so if you want to go for a mod that makes less drastic changes to the game I would say this one is not a bad one to try I just have not played it in a while - Starlight River is one I am sure most people have seen while it does not have the most content right now it could be a cool thing to check out -Calamity is one most people recommend when someone asks about modded Terraria and I do as well I personally don't like it as much as all the other options on this list but it is one to keep in mind. I would Recommend not playing with Infernum mod immediately as that makes some pretty drastic changes to the bosses and playing it with the original design is probably best checking something out for the first time. I would also recommend Vanilla Calamity mod music as it has some really good tracks and hearing fresh music could be interesting - Fargo's Soul Mod is one I would recommend checking out at some point though not for your first mod as Fargo's is a mod focusing on changing Vanilla Terraria's content in a new way rather then adding content if you do play this mod you should play with Fargo's Both World Evils as I personally am not a fan of making artificial biomes but that may just be me I hope some of these mod suggestions peaked your interest.

Man, I remember when the mechanical bosses were the end of the game. I actually logged like 400 or so hours in the game between then and the frost moon update and got burnt out. I've played maybe like three times since then, one of which being the duke fishron update, where I swear there was a bug with his damage. I remember being on a server with a friend and giving both of us godmode, then still dying in a single hit to him, it was crazy.
i’ve always wanted to do a terraria challenge of my own but i don’t have many original ideas, i’m considering doing a challenge where i’m only allowed to use stuff like mounts and cannons but i’m not sure if i even have the storage space or editing skills. but now i really feel like giving it a shot, thanks dpad!

as mod i can highly recommend playing the calamity mod (on Revengance mode for even more interresting mechanics) due to its incredible amount of content(including amazing boss musik^^) and if you want a challange try beating it on death mode with "true Melee" Weapons only
for a mod, do either thorium, calamity or fargos soul mod if ur doing calamity pick expert mode, then activate either revengance or death mode, special modes added ingame for calamity if ur TRULY daring (and want to cry urself to sleep every night) then down load the infernum mod (and subworld library since its required for infernum) and activate that if ur doing fargos soul mod, download the fargos soul mod extras aswell as getting the fargos mutant mod too ur welcome!

Very cool! I'm one of the madlads who actually likes the Fisher and his quests but it's definitely a loooong achievement. I would love to see you experience Thorium! I saw Calamity suggested a couple of times but seeing as you have some trouble dodgeing (no shade here, I have the same problem) I'm not sure you would enjoy Calamity a lot since a majority of the bosses are absolute bullet hells. Thorium is much more....vanilla (I guess?) in it's approach :)
Secrets of the shadows is an underrated mod that just recently got updated to 1.4.4, I’d love to see what you’d make of it, there’s so many new things and reworks of kinda bland stuff like the pyramid! Maybe use only the new type of weapon class, sort of

I was just looking at the thumbnail and was like, my runs usually take 60+ hours every time I play on a new profile.
just realised how he got the nights edge before beating skeletron, he beat most of the pre hard mode bosses including skeletron using it…
you need to beat skeletron for access to the dungeon and that’s how you obtain the muramasa ( a sword needed to make the night edge)
also just found how he managed to buy a mechanics fishing rod during day when you actually need to have a waning crescent moon to purchase it
First off I showed in the video how I got the Muramasa, it was in the singular golden chest above the dungeon guardian spawn height.
Also, the mechanic's fishing rod requires that phase of the moon, not nightime. In Terraria, a single moon's phase applies to both day and night, changing each day at 4:30am.
You gave me a 3rd grade flashback with that wayside school reference. Seems so long ago now.
You could do calamity revengance or death mode if you are up for that, infernum would most likely be too difficult

If you haven't already, you should try calamity death mode!
21:54 :D (why is their two compasses????)
quick tip, if u use the rainbow gun on the pillars final phase it shreds it even if u die
