Cass, I just have to say that natural beauty radiates from you. Everything about you. And you're so down to earth and fun! You don't let the fact that you're a gorgeous and perfect model blow your head up. You make us all feel equal. This is definitely why I always will consider you my favorite guru and person. I hope I might meet you someday, because you're such a role model to me. Love you, and happy holidays!

I have had acne problems since I was 18. I didnt even know that you could do something like this. I saw you on a tv show and I was amazed at what you can do. I am going to try these routines and see how it works. Thank you so much!!!!

I had really really bad acne and I used acne one by dermatology choice I got from aesthetician. I cleaned my face with clariaonic deep pore. At nigjtb i also clean it with a mandeloc toner. Then I put bit c and e serum for the hyper pigmentation. I also regularly drink 1300 mg primrose oil twice a day and vit c. My face cleared like super clean. I also had photo facial treatmenta but only 4 sessions then I had a pro peel. I spray my brushes everyday before use with alcohol too. My foundation is lycogel and I set it with glo minerals. My face is super clear now clearer than ever.

for those who have problems with acne, I used to have a lot of acne and I started 2 wash my face with a mixture of my pore scrubbing cleanser ( oil of olay) honey and baking soda even amounts of everything, and now I don't have acne anymore, all I'm left with is a lot of scaring,I occasionally get a breakout here n there but it dries out within a day or two,I started 2 times a day and now I wash my face once a day(morning) and a night just wash only with my scrub,

Your videos are such an inspiration! Although I don't have cystic acne, I have terrible scars. I have no acne but it looks like I do ... my whole chin is just one, big red scar. Same on my cheeks. You give girls with acne problems a hope!!! Love it!

I use MUFE HD foundation and I have cystic acne. It's the only foundation that does not cause flare ups/breakouts for me. As long as you wash this off properly, your skin will be fine.

I had very bad acne and used Accutane to treat it. My acne was similar to DiamondsAndHeels14's acne from her popular foundation video. I used it for 6 months and it worked amazingly. The only side effect I experienced was lip and nose dryness. It's been 4 years and my acne hasn't come back but if it does I won't hesitate to use it again.
In Manuela's experience the side effects were far worse than the benefits. In my experience the benefits were AMAZING and I had very minimal side effects.

I never heard of the spray on to control oil! Definitely going to have to get that! As of right now I lightly dust my face with baby powder using a brush and then use a bronzer to highlight the areas needed, so I don't look washed out. It's worked WONDERS for my oily complextion. Of course this is done AFTER my foundation is on :)

So trying to find a good tutorial I stumbled across the 1 you made in 2010. I checked to see if you had done a more recent 1 only to find 1 made not 24 hours ago! In the first 1 when you took of your makeup I could see how self conscious you were. Then this video off it went without flinching. It made me smile to see that change happen. Def. subbing, thank you!

if u don't mind may i suggest a skin care tip, by the way i love watching ur videos, u have an attractive personality, i would love to help u get rid of acne as i suffered 4m it, so my tip is daily apply thick layer of plan natural yougart on ur face 4 20mins n sometime in the evening apply pure goat milk for 5mins n than wash it. it will dry ur skin meaning it will dry away ur acne n minimize ur pores, don't touch ur skin yr skin should not feel any kind of heat, avoid sun rays

  • @nasir5120
    @nasir5120 11 років тому

i might sound insane but wash ur face atleast 5 times a day or splash water on ur face n at night after all day skin drying process apply a good moisturizer 30mins before hitting the bed so that the moisturizer gets the time to absorb into the skin, i also had such bad acne n this routine helped me like a miracle n yes if u follow this simple routine than remember u have to show patience 4 a month n drink luke warm water.

When getting a medium-full coverage drug store foundation I tried a lot and found that the Revlon 24 hour super stay one, for my oily to combination skin really works well and covered my acne. They have different formulas too to go along with skin types and shades. Thats at least what worked for me :)

Try exfoliating your face two times a week, and moisturize before you apply any makeup. This will ensure that your pores are clean, and your skin is a smooth surface for application. Also, make sure your foundation brush doesn't have any residue. It needs to be washed daily. One more thing, instead of using back and forth motions with your brush, try buffing the foundation into your skin going clockwise and then counterclockwise. Hope this helps! :)

Have you ever tried Retin-A or Tretinoin? I have bad acne and big painful pimples and It REALLY performed miracles on my face. It not only took away the acne but it took away a lot of my scars as well. I actually quit wearing foundation for the first time in like 4 years and it is amazing. I know I hate it when people who try and tell me what to do about my acne but it was the best thing I ever did. Idk if you tried it yet but you might give it a shot! You're beautiful regardless though!

  • @lizzifieddd

Hi there :) You could try a waterproof, full-coverage foundation. Sheer it out over your entire face, before going back to blemishes and building coverage just on those areas. This avoids that cakey feeling. Apply thin layer over thin layer, instead of going in with a thick layer straight away. Blot well with a tissue after letting everything dry to get rid of any excess foundation, then set with a dusting of translucent powder, which is colourless so you can't see it even if it transfers. :)

I absolutely love your videos. I've had problems with acne for several years, and I recently tried using cleansers and other face products with benzoyl peroxide (that I chose after watching your videos) instead of my typical salicylic acid and my face has started to show improvement after so many years! I hope you keep being the super amazing person you are :)

I started wearing foundation to cover up some of my pimples and oiliness.,i found one brand that suits me and my budget. And that is revlon colorstay liquid foundation for combination to oily skin. You just need to get used to applying it cause its kinda tricky at first. It dries up fast and oxidizes so you have to choose wisely for your color shade and test it first to ur skin before actually buying it.

This may sound a bit silly... but I didn't know powder foundation made the imperfections stand out! (mainly my acne scars) so I'm going to try just applying my liquid foundation and leaving it at that. and I will just finish with powder foundation before a night out I guess! Love your videos! Thanks again.

You are do an excellent job with your makeup;)..I am an older women..that sounds weird to that but I am 36...people always say to use powder to set concealer and foundation. it looks awful on me..i have really dark circles under my eyes..But like you I work what I got.lol.;)

Cassandra I purchased the MUFA HD foundation based on your review/suggestion, it was the worst so I returned it and got the Too Faced BB cream because the coverage is exactly the same and feels better and looks better on my skin. I'm gonna go back to my Estée Lauder maximum coverage foundation. I look perfect with it on. You should try it so that you don't have to cake on layers upon layers of makeup.

MUFE is a make up brand that you can get in high end departmental stores, hence it is fairly high end although 'not as' high end as Dior or Chanel. But sometimes it's more to do with brand than quality -you may find other make up brands that use the same ingredients with the fraction of the cost. A lot of professionals admit they love to use their fingers for foundation as it gives this natural glow to the skin but I do agree about the camera bit. However she never said she was a professional.

but depending which BC you use, the hormones can actually cause people (especially acne-prone people) to break out waaay worse than before. A dermatologist is the only one who can really make a recommendation about what is best for someone's skin as far as medications are concerned. Glad BC helped you, though! :)

I have very oily acne prone skin in my t-zone but normal to dry skin on my cheeks. I can't stand the feeling of liquid foundation. I can feel it sliding on my face with or without powder or setting spray. A little Concealer I can handle, but not a full face and certainly not every day. But then again, I've only used drugstore foundation because I can't make myself spend the money on something I won't wear regularly. Maybe I should invest and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the Vid!

I didn't know if maybe even putting the concealer on a zit on your cheek to cover up and then going to your forhead and covering that up would that transfer bacteria from your cheek onto your forhead or doesn't it really matter? I just didn't want to cover a zit on my chin and then put it somewhere else and have that cause a problem there... I don't know if I make sense. Sorry!

Cassandra, I don't know your particular situation but having acne prone, sensitive skin myself and using a lot of different make up products, I noticed that SPF is a big NO NO for me. I do not use SPF in my make up products since September and my skin seems to clear up quite a bit. I know what dermatology doctors say about SPF, mine says the same thing but you know what? I don't sit out in the sun for hours for the sun to do any significant damage and being originally from Europe...

Most topical acne treatments (both over-the-counter and prescription) are a waste of money... I've suffered from acne for 8 years and tried it all so I can attest to this personally! The best treatments I've found are complete systems, not stand-alone creams or cleansers.
