- Darton is making a run at the flagships. The Spectra E was the most surprising bow I have reviewed yet. I say it all the time, what a time to be a bow hunter. So many companies competing and putting out some amazing bows.
One of my local shops started carrying Darton this year, they make good bows and are very underrated. The Maverick XT is nice too.
Love hearing that personally I think will see more and more shops carrying them.

I love Darton bows, i still have and shoot my DS-2800. Just put new Archery Shack strings and cables on it. It has poked holes through many deer. Love your reviews, thanks, and I’m first😁

I heard that a lot, seasoned dartons are still performing great
Wow over 300 with a 500g arrow at 70lbs is ridiculous. I shoot a 486 grain arrow at 31 inches… insane.
I wish one was nearby to try

But I will say it was pumping I could feel it , so if it’s off I believe only by a little

God this year was awesome selection and this was def one of the bows that suprise me the most can’t wait to get the veracity

Can you wind the poundage down?
Did the Spectra E end up making you line up? Do you still have it and shoot it? Looking into getting one and just wanted to know if you see it being good long-term.
It’s a shooter I’m sure by now you’ve made up your mind. It’s easy to tune and loves big fixed heads.
The background music is distracting and unnecessary good video otherwise though

Too bad the company was sold to Black Eagle. Original Michigan based Darton was tough to beat.

Randy Kitts buying Darton was a great thing, as good as they are and the patents they hold, marketing was not Rex's forte.
all the changes that have been made to the current bows are by the guys from Black Eagle.., they have only made them better!!
That is probably the best thing they could've done. Since taking over hes already pumped out 2 great bows and created more buzz than Darton has had since the mid 90s
335 IBO with your stats and arrow weight show a 278 speed. Something isn’t right with this!!! Your getting 30FPS more than it’s supposed to be. They don’t underrate there bows that much!!!!
I would agree I thinks it the one bow my crono might have been mis reading or acting up, if I get the spectra e in again I’ll have to redo and compare
Shot this at my local shop and it wore me out. But they also have it marked down like $450 so I may have to get it
That’s is the best bow for the price at 450.00
