I enjoy when you have the chance to turn around on the way down the run and show that view back, it gives a really different perspective of the pitch changes and run route.
Yes, when skiing forward, it's usually difficult to get a true view of the steepness while viewing back gives a better perspective, as you have mentioned.
Fun runs and not so much traffic. I am really enjoying these videos. Watching them may be the closest I get to skiing. Health issues getting tougher than I thought. (Think I'll get my Nomads sharpened anyway. I think I need to cultivate a paramedic for a skiing buddy).
I ski practically the whole season so if I could afford it, I would be in a good position to make recommendations... but I'm usually camping in my van so....it's not so luxurious... if I do find accommodation, it's normally early or late season, when it's much more affordable...
If I may ask, what version of Virb Edit do you use? I ask because I downloaded the latest version, but it won't properly import from my GoPro 11. It gives me a garbled color mess video (that won't play to edit in Virb).
It's the latest version but it's a discontinued product so no updates and no fixes. Not really sure what your problem is, my videos play fine. I would suggest going to the virb edit forums and check there....

Happy you are enjoying my videos but not so happy about your health. Really hoping you can get onto the slopes a lot this season....
Excellent , why don't you include some lodging recommendation for each ski resort you been lately ?
