@@ChasingSnow absolutely fine above 1600-1700 metres. Below that, not quite so good. Les Arcs was great too (across the valley from La Plagne). Temperatures need to drop a bit though.
Great runs and such stunning views of the mountains. Got to get healthy and ski some of those trails. Beautiful, and thanks for explaining the GoPro bump reduction tech.
Not yet. Hoping to soon. The main trouble is sitting on my butt for three years writing a book didn't do much to strengthen my legs. If I do find a keeper who can carry my remains back home when the mountain is done with me, I'll begin with the green trails and stay there until some confidence and speed return. @@ChasingSnow
Although gradient is used towards defining a red and a blue, there is also factore like danger. A steep wide slope with deep snow runoff sides will be a blue but a less steep slope that's narrow with trees, and a cliff will be a red etc.
Just got back from La Plagne. Loved it.
Great, what are the conditions like?

@@benjaminvolant2469 Great, thanks for letting me know. I'll be back later in the season...

Thanks. Have you had a ski this season yet?

@@barrylongyear1933 Sounds like a good plan, start easy and slowly work your way up... need to get those legs back into action...
Those few two blues looked quite mellow. After I've gone through the skill level lesson list at CF, I'll be probably able to tackle them.
You should be fine after completing the course...
У меня на таких уклонах скорость очень быстро растёт. А у Вас быстро получается гасить скорость, как будто воздушный тормоз за спиной.
It's just the way I ski, I don't really think about it...
What is red about the red slope? Looks like a blue to me because some blues in this video have steeper longer parts.
Yes, it was just the start of the red, which wasn't steep at all but the continuation of it was closed...
