Well, I thought of 3 options if the lift had closed... 1. Walk up the piste until I could ski to my destination. 2. Get a taxi. 3. Hope they had a shuttle bus to get me back. Fortuntely the bus option worked...
Did the same thing last week but misst the last Crozats chair and got stuck in Montchavin for 3 hours trying to get a taxi back as there is no bus from there 😅, got home eventually.
Oh wow, lucky I just managed to catch that one. The guys I overtook were also late but gave me directions on how to get back once we arrived in La Plagne...
Well done. Puts a new concept on "Beat the clock; Sunday Night at the London Palladium". I'm showing my age now. Until I can ski reds confidently, I wouldn't make it to the valley gondola in time, and I'd have an expensive taxi ride as a consequence.
Hope you enjoyed the night at the Palladium! There is an easier way back which I cover in another video... This was the end of day 2, I'll start getting into day 3 now...
@@ChasingSnow The ITV screening - in black and white - show ended decades ago with the last one in 1969. And Beat the Clock was for me as a child one of the highlights.

Where did you finish up? Looks like an exhausting day skiing, but certainly one to remember
I ended up at the Soleil parking, which is where I parked... eventually... It was a long day getting back...
